Composing New Email - Attachments??

iPhone 3GS shipped with 3.1;

When composing a new email, how come I cannot use an attachment? Meaning I'd like to start composing my draft, then somehow select the attachment to insert into the composed draft. I prefer this method since attachments are inline into the body of the email.

Unfortunately it would seem I must select the attachment first then compose??

Cool thank you for this tip. Its a solution as a work around but it works, and its not slow so why not.

Now if ONLY I can select pictures from the camera roll into web browser forum posts; copy paste doesn't work of course.
