Same here bro.

IMO at this moment, there is no point in buying an iPad 12.9 ", at least as long as it has an iOS limiting device. Maybe when Apple prepares iOS, which will compete with Surface
Apple should have stuck with the old models of 10.5 en 12.9 inch with the newer soc , and release one new (this) design version of 11.8-12.2 inch. Would have been a no brainer. The choice between screen size , weight, portability is very difficult , there is no sweet spot right now.
I have just got an iPad Pro 11" 256 GB and I would like to note a few things:
1) If you use a desktop computer with an iPad as your main and only portable device, 12.9" will be a better option with the keyboard case and the pencil. If you use a laptop computer with an iPad as your secondary portable device, then 11" will be great, especially its new 3-2 aspect ratio being a nice sweet spot between 4-3 and 16-9.
Totally agree with this. For me the 11” is too small and the 12.9” is too big.
I’m think of getting a 12” MacBook since it’s an ice balance between both sizes.
It is not 3:2, it is about 4.2 : 3 or something like that, it has about 4,5% extra pixels horizontally vs the old 10.5 iPad Pro which is 4:3. Vertically amount of pixels remained the same as the 10.5 inch.Do we have an official Confirmation from Apple like in any article or Apple Website that the new 2018 11" iPad Pro has a 3:2 Ratio and not the traditional 4:3 ratio ? And what does it mean for users ? Does it mean less black bars at the top while watching a Movie which is I thin most movies are encoded in 16:9 Ratio ? Correct me if I am wrong guys ? How is 3:2 ratio better than 4:3 Ratio that Apple has been using all these years in its Previous generations iPad Pro's !
I went from the Air 2 to the 11”. I ordered it for pickup not really seeing a 12.9”. I walked by the 12.9 on my way out next to the 11” and it made the 11” look so small and I thought “oh %@#, I got the wrong one!”. But at home I’m really glad I didn’t get the 12.9”. With the folio and pencil on it most of the time, the 12.9” would have been too much for me to consider portable.
HK's consumer law sucks. I remember the time when we still had the 14-day return window. The rest was history. Damn scalpers.Same here bro.

I highly suggest people to compare last years iPad Pro 12.9” with this years 12.9”
You will then appreciate the new 12.9 a lot more.
I this the iPad Pro which Apple should have released long ago.
Again, you seem to be attempting to justify / buttress your decision.
Size is incredibly subjective. Both these iPad Pros have the exact same horse power and can do all the same things. It's the same reasons why people choose the XS vs the XS Max.
They're both fantastic choices that can do all the same things and the only really, truly deciding factor is a person's subjective opinion to the size which is determined by all kinds of different factors that are vastly different from person to person.
Just really curious, what do you consider portable? How are you bringing your iPad?
But that’s where you’re wrong. People in the US do not do this. The inability to make a decision concerning an Apple product is a behavior solely isolated to members of this MacRumors forum. I kid, I kid.People in the US can buy 2 or 3 iPads and keep one and that is not a problem for Apple.
I don’t have a rigid definition for portable. Usually portable to me is something I want to take out of the house, lol. I’m well aware I’m not the norm. My 13” MBP doesn’t leave the house and is the family computer.
I put my iPad in a book bag and ride the train to work. The space to operate in my seat is tight so anything bigger than the 11” is the limit.
I, for one, can’t wait to get my 12.9. I think I’m going to be very happy.
I’m a sys admin / DBA and the thought of me not grabbing my computer for an ssh session is making me very happy.
I look forward to hearing your results. I’m a sysadmin / java developer and can’t quite see how an iPad would work better than a laptop, but who knows. I try to keep my options open.
