I've always gone with Black/Space Gray models. I had in the back of my mind that this year I'd mix it up and probably go with White/Silver...until Apple gave us Blue! Being my favorite color, Pacific Blue was a no brainer. Absolutely no regrets for me. I love it!

I think it's the best color so far, looks amazing in-person.
That was hardest part, photos, videos...most of them do NOT match what it truly looks like it person. I had the brief look at Apple weeks ago before Pre-order, but I could not make up my darn mind!. (I am insanely indecisive, I admit. It drives people nuts...it drive ME nuts! lol

But after this weekend seeing the Pac Blue on display and really looking at this at Best Buy...not feeling rushed like I had at an Apple session, I had to make the switch! 😃

I really like my PB Max. However, I wish Apple would make some of the fun colors in the Max. I would have taken a mint green in a heartbeat over the PB.
i thought you knew, pros dont like "fun" colors...lol i wish they would do away with the blues and get a red. Like a wine red or burgundy.

Absolutely agree with you. It's just like Apple's photos for watch bands--the color depiction from their photos are lousy. I went to a store to compare sizes between 12 Pro and Pro Max, while I was leaning Pacific Blue, seeing it in person completely solidified my decision.

Well, talk about spur of the moment purchasing...LOL.
So I ordered the Pac Blue Pro Max, same specs just different color. It's been VERY rare for this to be at my nearby Apple Store until now. I'll pick that up today.

With all this insane set up Apple has now, 2, 3 different lines, appointments, at the nearby mall etc. I don't think I can do an exchange of the Graphite at the same time - Maybe...who knows. So I'll just set up an appt. when one is open to return the Graphite.

First NON black, gray iPhone I will own. (but the slight dull blue, hint of gray in certain lighting conditions just makes it look amazing) I also do like that aqua around the camera lens...different! Simply put, the color is just too darn nice not to pass up.

Thanks for the input.
They’ll probably do the exchange for you today. Be sure to take the graphite with you just in case.

I love my PB 12PM! I don’t use a case, and I enjoy looking at the beautiful color every time I see the phone. The band really doesn’t show the smudges that much unless the light hits it right. Most of the time it looks like a dark blue slab of goodness. When looking at the device from the front with the screen off, it looks the closest to my beloved slate iphone 5.
I’ve been bored with the Space Gray iPhones since my 6 Plus (the Jet Black 7+ was great), and I change it up each year.

Pacific Blue for the win!

How can I not love the color of my country’s flag?

They have done green last year and blue this year. Wouldn't surprise me to see a red next year

I've always thought this PB color is a very masculine color, which is why I went for the gold in the end. I just cannot see myself carrying a dark colored phone for the next few years.

But for all those contemplating this color, I'd totally recommend it. It's so much more fun than the the graphite. Why do black and graphite all your life, when Apple introduces a dark "neutral" colored, sexy looking phone???

PB is ultimately a potassium blue and cobalt blue with gray mixed in. So in dark settings, it looks like a black phone, but in sunlight, it catches and reflects light very much like the ocean. And that Baltic Blue leather case is a perfect match for this phone. Too bad they don't have a perfect match for the gold phone!

Don't mean to brag, but I know everything about colors!!!

You were right, they would have done the exchange today. Actually they were all ready for me to swap it. It's all confusing right now, my past few "Pick ups" at this new setup from Apple, they bring out the new item to me.

It's cool though, I can set up another appointment to return the Graphite. doing a few errands before heading over to Apple. Plus the original box was still at home.

Anyway already set the Pac Blue, I'll wipe out the Graphite and I can return when there's an opening (nothing yet at my local store, usually this refreshes in the morning.)

But this phone is a work of art! This slight color shift - blue to a light gray, deep blue in the lighting here is wild.
Again, thanks all for the input.

The Pacific Blue looks almost black to me under artificial lighting, and sometimes even purple. I was surprised how dark it is. With that said, it’s really interesting and I like how it looks different under different lighting conditions. I really like it.

I’m really loving my Pacific Blue. Did green last year, so I suppose I’m going to do unique colors from here on out.

I love the Pacific Blue but I really wish Apple would allow the Pros in Red. Red is my favourite colour and I don't like Black and White Phones TBH. They feel too dull to me.

I had two Pros with PB. Then I decided to buy a 12 Pro Max. It was immediately clear I didn’t want PB again. Don’t know why. Had enough of it. Happy with my graphite PM now.

When I went to order the 12 Pro Max, I was told that the pacific blue wouldn't arrive until the middle of December. The only color that doesn't have as long of a wait is the graphite. I usually get the space gray color anyway, so I didn't mind. However, I saw the pacific blue in person for the first time today and the sides are gorgeous. I'm interested to see how the gold looks in person.

The Gold was the first I saw in person. The sides are a VERY shiny gold, I've seen other compared it to shiny C3PO gold and that's pretty spot on. Slim shiny line around he bezels and I do like the accent around the camera lens.

In certain lighting - for me at least - it looked like the back matte of the phone has a slight OFF-white in some angles, then almost a...hmm...I almost want to say a slight light tan hue. (not totally white) another angle it almost had a shade that looked like a Band Aid color.

These slight color shifts in these new phones are hard to describe, photos really don't do it justice. ATT, Verizon stores do have these Golds on display so if you can get in there, just check it out. (Maybe Best Buy...they used to have gold at my store, but now they have PB. Maybe even a Target now? )

Thats the best option to get a real clear idea on colors.
