12 Pro / Pro Max Pacific Blue - Do you still love the color or regret the choice?

Finally got mine today. Love it! But missing 3d touch =(
I love your candid description (esp. band-aid part). When advertising pictures fail us, we have to rely on words to understand color. I will be receiving mine in a few days. I like the gold rim and the gold around the camera. That will show even if I put on a case.
Okay! I'm convinced on PB! I've been stalking the Apple site for a Pacific Blue 256GB and no luck. Today, I decided on the Graphite 256GB and I have an in-store pickup this Sunday 11/28th, but after reading your comments, I really want the Pacific Blue. Will Apple allow me to exchange the Graphite for Pacific Blue once I see it become available? I don't mind paying for PB and later return the Graphite before the Jan. 8th extended return policy. I just feel bad for exchanging it for a different color. I just didn't know when PB 256GB will become available. I'm so tired stalking the site that I caved on Graphite. I didn't want to order PB and have it delivered because I travel for work and may miss the delivery date.
Also, I forgot to add a Magsafe charger to my in-store pickup. When I do place an order for a Magsafe charger, I have to go back to Apple on Dec. 1st. for in-store pickup. Will Apple allow me to buy a Magsafe charger on 11/28th. when I pickup my phone?

I’ve always liked Gold, Silver and Rose Gold colored iPhones. I have the X in Space Gray and hate the color. Before the PB color was confirmed, I was dead set on getting Gold or Silver, until I saw the color of the phones and I then decided to go for PB. Now 2 weeks in, I still love the color and have no regrets. No matter lighting I am in, it still look like PB to me. I even only ordered clear cases so that I can show off the color everyday. I sent the Apple Silicon case back due to seeing too many people say it’s a lint magnet.
I never liked the colored iPhones. I always choose Space Gray and also have a Graphite AW6.
But since blue is my favorite colour and the Pacific Blue looks so amazing I choose that.
After 1 Month I am still more than happy about my choice. IMO it is the best color Apple ever released.

That's the route I took also, once I saw the PB, I snatched it before availability was gone again..now owning two phones. But you will not have a problem at all returning the Graphite before Jan 8. (I know the slight guilt...returning because of color but it's done all the time - The Apple rep stated it's not an issue what so ever, many have already swapped colors, Gold to PB, or even PB to something else.) I have a 15 min window today at Apple store, returning the Graphite for the refund.
*Having the 2 phones for a few days was cool also. Just making sure the Pacific Blue ran fine, the iOS update installed ok with no issues, display is not flawed (some have this severe green glow issue right now)...etc. - while still having the working Graphite.
As for picking up a MagSafe pick up, I don't see why you can't pick up the MagSafe charger on 11/28 while you're there...usually they have these items reserved for you - name order number on a sticker. Just let them know you already bought it, and you want to pick it up while you're there.
Thanks... I was thinking the same - since I have 15 mins., I was going to ask them to charge me for a Magsafe Charger, AirPod Pros and a Clear Magsafe Case. Question? How does the Space Gray compare to the Graphite? I'm picking up the Graphite in-store tomorrow. I based my alternate decision on the fact that Pacific Blue was hard to find and watching Youtube videos. I was never fond of Space Gray on an iPhone (even though I plan on purchasing a MB Pro in Space Gray). Are the colors the same; just a change in color name by Apple?
Absolutely no regrets on getting the Pacific Blue.
I use the official Apple Store app, this has been the easiest way to find and schedule appointments. "Returns/Exchanges" is also one of the options. I kept checking multiple times yesterday morning, a window for today opened up. (Great app to quickly purchase items, the appointment/picks ups create little bar codes that can be added to Apple Wallet. Easy check-ins from the Apple employees when they just scan the code on your phone..
The return today was a breeze, took no more than 6, 7 minutes.

Many said the Graphite was the same color as last years 11 Pro Max, just a different name. (I didn't have the 11.)
The Graphite also has a slight color shift - appears a lighter gray in certain angles, darker in another angle. The camera module may look black also at one angle, or like a shiny dark mirror in other lighting conditions. I never hated this color, the Pacific Blue was totally different and cool - and I've had gray/black phones for over a decade. Kinda wanted to switch it up for a change.
I always thought this YouTube video pretty much nailed the colors at multiple angles, lighting.
I just got home from Apple......... I ordered the Graphite 12 Pro Max 256 yesterday - Fri. for in-store pickup tomorrow - Sun. Today - Sat, I called Apple to see if I could exchange for Pacific Blue as it appeared for availability for in-store pickup Dec. 1st. The lady told me to just drive to Apple tonight as my order was ready for pickup and maybe they might have the Pacific Blue available for exchange. I took her advice and drove to Apple. Pacific Blue available - Whaaaat!?!? Surprised!
I was allotted 15 mins. I felt rushed. To be honest, I like the Graphite better. It looked Sleek and Stealth. I do like Pacific Blue as it is a new color for iPhone. I could not decide and felt pressured to make a decision. My instincts told me to get the Graphite I already ordered. I came home with the Pacific Blue because the guy told me I could exchange it for Graphite anytime before Jan 8th. 2021. I took his advice because I thought I might just like it more when I got it home. I really should've bought both phones. After looking at the Pacific Blue, I'm thinking and leaning towards that Graphite color and may do an exchange after Christmas. Pacific Blue looks Teal - Blue-Green. I based wanting Pacific Blue by photos and Youtube videos, but after seeing both colors in-person, I may exchange for Graphite. My apologies for my indecisiveness.
I also picked up the 20W Power Adapter, Magsafe ClearCase and AirPod Pros.
They chose a pretty decent blue. Some of the blues they've used in the past on iPods and the iPhone 5c were so juvenile and Eastery. I hate the cobalt case, though, it clashes with both blue phone options...definitely miss the navy option
Yes I happen to watch this video. This was the video that made me decide to move forward with the Graphite order, even though I was after Pacific Blue since Day 1. Surprisingly, this video influenced me to lean towards Graphite, even though I came home with Pacific Blue. I may do an exchange after Christmas when these phones are readily available.
It’s a great color. My wife and I both went with it, which means we have to be careful about our case choices! I’ve currently got a black Caudabe sheath, but I’ve got a gray one on the way.
Anyway the gray to blue shift reminds me of the actual pacific so, yeah, the name even fits well.

Ahhhh my nephew had the pro max in pacific blue last night so I got a nice close up look. Oof it was very nice and made my gold look boring. Blue is the exciting color to get this year and no other pro color says “12” more than this one. I will without a doubt be exchanging before the holiday return period. I’ll also be returning the saddle back leather case as I don’t think it will go with the blue at all.
