Hi,
I noticed an issue with my iPhone 11 Pro and LTE network since upgrading to 13.2 beta. It randomly drops connection when internet is used, and there is no data connection available but the phone still shows 4 full bars LTE. In other scenario LTE bars just start to jump to 3G and back repeatedly, and there is no connection either.

Only restart helps in this case.

Yes I’m seeing this issue too with mine, I may try a network reset, and if issue persists, im going to try restoring

Ok, so I am not alone at least...

It did not happen in 13.1, as I had used it for around a week without WiFi prior to updating, and everything was fine.

Seems that any app can trigger this error by using something more than ‘minimal amount of data’. Safari normally works, but gets issues loading something ‘heavier’ as well. Speedtest triggers the error almost instantly, some online gaming apps as well.

i do not have this issue on my 11 pro max on 13.2 beta 1, my data/LTE speeds have been great and haven't had any issues

I have this issue, intermittently on 13.1.2 as well. Using ATT on the e-sim, and TMobile on the physical/primary.

I am in Australia and there are a lot of iPhone 11 Pro/iPhone 11 Pro Max owners experiencing the same issue.

Strange, I do not remember reading anywhere prior to experiencing it myself that this is such a big/widespread issue...

I am on e-sim, and the issue just started after updating to 13.2. beta.

Any workarounds, info from Apple so far?

This is the nature of Beta software. I assume all of you experiencing this have reported it to apple as part of your beta testing?

What concerns me is that people are seemingly having this issue also with final releases of software...

Only thing I can currently do to have normal connection is to switch to 3G in settings permanently.

This is actually something very interesting... I went to another country in Europe (using same eSIM from my country), and during the day I did not had a single ‘data outage’...LTE bars are shifting normally as I move around, sometimes switches to 3G, but no connection is lost. But I definitely had issues early in the morning in my country.

...Maybe I’m just lucky today ;)

I am starting to think that last week I actualy used the phone in one more EU country for almost all week, and updated to 13.2 when I returned. Therefore, initially I thought that the update had caused issues, but now it seems it can be also problem with some specific regions maybe. Maybe carrier settings have to be updated? I remember some specific ‘Carrier Settings’ updates in past. Do not know what they actually do, though.

Just had this happen again. Started Google Maps for directions, and it kept saying I’m offline. Switched ‘cellular’ to ATT (from TMobile) and still nothing. Both providers showed LTE, but I just couldn’t start the directions!

Placed device into Airplane mode, and then back....in vain! Rebooted, and Maps started working again.

I am on my 3rd iPhone 11 Pro-since launch date.

It has to be software related. I had no issues on iOS 12.. and even beta iterations of 13.1

So, now it’s the damn Mail app, and Data Connectivity issues!

Agree as my iPhone XS on iOS 12 NEVER had this issue.

It has to be software related, yes. I had a replacement iPhone 8 that came with 12.1.3 which I updated to 13.1.2 about 8 hours later. Prior to updating, everything was working well. Post updating, data speeds have tanked like never before.

Seeing as the issues exist even in 13.2 beta, I fancy I will wait till a beta comes up that restores functionality (ironic) and I shall then hop back on the beta wagon again.
