I upgraded to public iOS 13.2 yesterday and started to have this issue now. Only solution so far is switching to 3G.
My carrier is LMT (LV) and network provider version is 39.0.
Called LMT and they said that it is Apples fault and something wrong in iOS 13.2... recommendation was to use 3G or downgrade to previous iOS. Typical...

I have a 11iPP and iPhone 11 and after the recent update to 13.2 I started having poorer reception. I thought 13.1.3 was fairly good, and now it's regressed.

Ap

Apple support on twitter have not provided anything useful yet. However i contacted LMT and they acknowledget this issue and said that they are working with Apple to fix this. Who knows, maybe it is country / carrier + ios 13.2 specific issue. I would recommend to contact LMT so that they get more support calls regards this. Im hearing that more and more users have this issue on LMT. I wonder if anybody using Tele2 or Bite have this problem?

LTE with T2 prepaid (Physical SIM) works fine without issues. Seems like LTE issue appears with some operators, but not with some others.

was for me too, then I realized volte was switched off. I switched it back on and the calls started dropping again.

VoLTE is swithced off by default as far as I am concerned. At least it was by default for me.

Fingers crossesd - I am on 13.3. beta, and had no ‘dropouts’ today (LMT).

Some cellular service/data related fixes seem to be called out in the relase notes for the iOS 13.2.2 update that was just released.

So has has this been fixed yet for OP and others in the 13.2.2 update, saw a release note regarding the loss of data connection.

Do not know about the 13.2.2. as I went stright to 13.3 beta, but I have not not experienced any LTE dropout issues anymore since upgrading to the latest beta.

13.2.2 SO far is working good for me. After a terrible experience with each of the iOS 13 updates and 4G/LTE issues I’m pleased to say that 13.2.2 is the best yet

It hasn't occurred again since updating to 13.2.2, but I'm not sure this is relevant, because it used to happen quite rarely to me, perhaps once in three or four days or so. I need a bit more time to be sure that it's really fixed.

Yep I have the same problem as you then. It happens only when I reboot the phone and then it still is 50/50. If it doesn’t happen after a reboot it stays fine.

I’ve had similar issue on my 11 pro max, but the opposite. 4G is fine, but as soon as I drop to 3G, the data connection drops despite full bars. Very annoying and 13.2.2 hasn’t fixed it.

The bug is back. It was apparently fixed in 13.2.2, then 13.2.3 was fine as well, but then it came back in 13.3. 😡
What kind of idiots does Apple employ these days? 😒
