I got the max, coming from a 11 Max. I've gotten the larger phone since the 7 Plus. I just prefer a bigger screen.

I ordered the 14 Pro in black.

In the past, i always thought the iphone 6 had the perfect size, just extend the damn display i always thought.

Then i had to get the Xr from the iphone 8,cause i wanted to experience a full screen iphone. Why the Xr? Cause i had eyestrain on the X and Xs, i felt nauseous.

Then i went ahead and tried the Iphone 12, strangely it effected my eyes less. So i got the 12 Pro and while it was harder on my eyes, i could live with it.

What i mean is, since the 12 was smaller in size(slimmer)then the XR AND the 11 i had(almost forgot i had the 11 also lol), i got used to it and the Mini didnt make sense for me as my eyes gets older and im like for hours on a day on my phone as im early retired, and have basically no life beside my kids lol.

I WILL however go bigger, possibly Pro Max,someday when its lighter, the 13/14 pros are already heavy imo. So at the moment, while my eyes are getting ready to the next blinding fase, i cant buy a Pro Max,its too heavy for me.

Some people just like bigger phones. I’ve gotten the “big size” since the first Plus they put out. This year, though, I’m going for the 14 Pro. I just want a smaller phone this time—tired of the extra size and weight on this one (13PM).
Same rationale as me

I love a phablet. I’m female so I can throw this brick in my purse. I also have an iPad for at home but I love the larger screen on the pro max size when I’m at work or out. I went from the iPhone X to the 13 pro max and never looked back

This wasn't even a thought for me. Definitely the pro max. I watch a lot of video content and do a lot of reading on my phone. I don't want a small screen. I have a 6.1 in screen on my phone now only because of the awesome deal i got on it. I do have an ipad too but i always have my phone with me.

That's why there is an apple watch.
Apple watch sucks for distance running - the battery life isn't long and it's not as durable as Garmin. I use a Garmin that has a 27 day battery life....no way I'm ever going back to apple. Running with my phone is more of a security thing. Unfortunately as we've all learned recently, running at night or early morning isn't the same for women. I'm also on call at the hospital a lot.

I’ve occasionally wished for a larger screen than my historic & current Pro sized iPhones, I’ve already had to bump up font sizes across the OS & some apps due to failing eyesight. Then I think I’d probably find the added bulk and weight objectionable, not to mention the amount of time I already spend on my iPad Pro (better suited to productivity and video watching).

So it’ll be the 14 Pro this year. If I didn’t already have my iPad Pro, I’d probably go for the Max.

I'm downsizing this year, going from a 12PM to a 14 Pro. I was a "always going with the biggest iPhone" type of girl too, had the 6 Plus, 8 Plus, Xs Max but then switched to the 11 Pro for a reason I don't remember. 😂 Picked the 12 PM the following year because I was fed up with the tiny keyboard on the 11 Pro 😂 But here I am, downsizing again because the 12 PM is just sooooo uncomfortable to hold. Like a brick basically. Yes, I will probably miss the bigger screen. But I'm looking forward to the smaller phone fitting better in hands, pockets and bags. (And will forever miss the smooth edges of the past iPhones 😢)

I tried a Max once several versions back. I didn't dig such a large device in my pocket. If I want more real estate, I use my iPad Mini. So I have been doing the regular "Pro" size the last two revisions.

Battery, screen acreage for apps as well as video playback.
I have large hands but some dexterity issues. Any larger keyboard or buttons are appreciated.

Over the past few years I’ve used all the sizes apple had available - 11 pro being a favorite then xs max, 12 pro max, mini, 13 pro max

I find I can get adjusted to and use any of them tbh but the last device that felt one handed and comfortable was the 11 pro and they don’t make that size anymore

For this year I’m going with the max again. Beyond battery life the screen comes in handy for photo taking and editing plus watching social media and YouTube videos during downtime at work. I also appreciated with the 13PM not having to be concerned with topping up during the day. There are downsides with the larger size but I find I get adjusted to it and then just live with the phone
My 11 Pro was such a nice size to hold and to use. But then I had to put a battery case on it! That made it so chunky. The battery would drain very fast and we could never find out why. I think there might have been something wrong with my 11 Pro because it would often get scary hot that I couldn’t hold it. I’d have to give it to my husband to reset.

What iPhone 14 did you go with?

Regular Pro again. I've had the 6.1 size for 11, 12, and 13 phones. The Max has gotten a bit too heavy and is definitely a bit big for me. When I want something larger I can use an iPad.

Had the 8 plus. Went with 12p , now 14p. Use the iPad mini when I need real-estate. Easier for skiing

I've been using Plus/Max iPhones since the 6 (aside from the X). The Max has just gotten a bit too big and cumbersome for my lifestyle and I'm switching to the 14 Pro.

When I'm home I opt for my MBP or iPad mini, and when I'm out I'd rather something more portable. I don't consume much media on my phone, and I think it'll be easier to take photos w a smaller size phone at events and concerts.

Excited for the switch!

Downsizing after years of Plus/Max. I miss when my iPhone was phone sized a bit. The old grip and one handed use. Max is lovely but it’s like a little tablet in practical use.

ordered 14 Pro and hope I don’t regret it
