Smartone (a local carrier here in Hong Kong) have posted some photos of the first customers getting their phones this morning......i saw 1 7+ Jet Black...so they do exist in the wild, but the way they emphasised the photo, i suspect there is VERY few around.

Edit: Link to their Facebook page where the photos are posted.

Just don't do what that Australian guy did last year. Opened up box for reporter and dropped first iPhone sold on sidewalk. That had to hurt bad.
They've changed the box design; the phone is no longer right on top :)

Lmao you're sorry that I have to go through a negative outlook of others? Lol good luck with that sticking. All I have to do is read the pathetic attacks on the OP of how "his phone will scratch", "it's probably a 7", "it's probably a matte black", "it's a demo unit". Poor guy is excited and all the negative nay sayers crawl out of the woodwork. My outlook is just fine pal. I'm not the one pissing on parades...

Being realistic isn't negative, calling people dbags is. Like I said, I hope he gets it and wanted him to post a follow up if he did. Most all of the comments you seem to refer to have some actual content, yours while providing no content just called them all dbags, hence my reply.

Take it how you will. I personally don't care. But when someone gets very excited about the prospect of getting the phone they've been longing for on release day despite everyone and their brother shouting impossible, and get met with negativity and Debbie Downers, it gets depressing. Was dbag a little harsh for you. Why, I'm sorry. The meanies were out in full force. Not dbags. There, we are all g rated and happy again.

You say everyone provided content but me. My content was very complicated, it was called 'lighten up'. What was the content in telling the OP that it prolly isn't really the phone he wants, that it's prolly a demo unit, that it'll scratch and smudge after a week. That's content? Delivered to a guy waiting alone in line for 10 hours? Really?

My cousin is getting married outdoors tomorrow. Perhaps the entire family can text and reminder there's a 70% chance it'll rain and ruin her wedding. I mean, she'll love that actual content smh....

Let me know if you need the content broken down for you.

Wasn't harsh for me, but was undisputably negative; my only point. Like I said, being realistic isn't negative, everyone commenting here has been respectful and offering valid input, even if it wasn't what someone hoping to get a phone that realistically very few, if any, will get tomorrow. Well everyone except... the one calling other posters dbags or now meanies. It adds nothing to the original topic and further goes to reiterate my original comments.

Why are these types of posts ALWAYS from newbies?

That said, how would anyone know this guy didn't preorder a Jet Black and his pics (if he posts them) aren't of a preordered, launch day pickup phone?

Actually it does nothing that you claim. Go back and read my previous post. I broke it down further for you. Or don't. Either way I don't care. Sleep will not be lost if my points get lost on you.

I am excited for OP, also excited/disappointed my Jet Black Plus just got shipping info, not launch day, but Monday. Not bad. If anyone gets one tomorrow, sell tomorrow before they start coming in if thats your plan, mine is too keep.

I did. And that was my reply. You think because I still replied and didn't change my mind that I didn't read it?

If you are comparing a (hopefully) once in a lifetime wedding day to an iPhone launch day, well there's part of the problem. If she got those texts you suggest unsolicited, well sure, but if she posted about the situation of the weather, I think people would offer the truth that it might rain. Do you think your cousin would start a topic about the weather at her wedding without thinking people would tell her about the weather??? You are reaching here...

Now three others have joined me here. Was wondering if everyone had some info I did not before... Anyone know what the limit of devices per customer is? Two I presume?

I hate to break it to you, but I don't think there's any way in hell that store gets any 7's of any variety; authorized resellers are the lowest priority.

I would recommend you go find a big corporate store while you still have time unless you have some sort of rock-solid tip.

Still I wanna try it. I don't have anything else to do.

I saw a iphone 7 setup inside

Well actually looking at his post in another thread he's got a pic of that store with the 7 display and demo units set up so maybe I'm way off base... Making me worried that the store I'm at doesn't have any sort of signage for the 7.........
You don't see any sign inside? Thos store is really smal and i'm surprise that they have that setup now :)

Thanks for the support guys, I'll definitely get a store escort to my car since there's about 90 people behind me who mostly want a Jet Black or Black.
