It kills me that some of these carriers have such idiotic employees. That is pretty crappy for them to do. I'd be beyond furious. Hopefully selling the 7 on ebay will help things a little for you!

I have a few AT&T Corp store employees I know in more than one state and none of them had JB 7 plus. Period.
I doubt there was any sort of cheat to the OP at all.

You spent your time to get a consumer product and bought it. Yours to do whatever you want to with it.
Same goes for online preorders. If someone gets up that early and buys it, it's theirs. Their choice how they 'use' it. I'm all for getting your own phone, yourself.
Only thing that's not right is paying mules to wait in lines in the past to actually horde phones for resale.

But he is right. People can order them online and don't need to wait for a freakin phone. They are all idiots who do. I did it once for the iPhone 5 and haven't since.

I don't wait in lines for new phones, but I did wake up at 3am on a work night to order my wife and I new phones. It amazes me how judgmental people are on what others choose to do with their time, on forums, on the internet, while wasting their own time..
