For me #1 on my radar for next year, is the HTC One M9, and hopefully a GPE version.

Other then that, curious about the OnePlus Two.

I don't think there is going to be another Nexus 7.

It's due for an upgrade. The Nexus 7 2013 is nice and all, but 2 years for a refresh makes sense. 3 GB of RAM seems to be a market trend now and having the same type of experience for tablets and phones works for people. Especially now that Google supports 64 bit processors, they can put that in, but the price point will go up a tad bit.

I'm very much looking forward to HTC's flagship and the iPhone 6S+ (if that's what it will be called).

Also intrigued by flagship WP10 devices.

I'm set with my iPad Air 2 for quite some time I think - not really going to be looking at any tablets at this point. The Apple Watch is, of course, going to be a must-buy for me. I'll go for the cheapest version to start and wait for 2.0 or 3.0 to get the one I really want.

I'm pretty content with my Surface Pro 3 and my modified Note 2. I really want the Nexus 6 but getting a hold of one is apparently impossible. Will be interesting to see what comes with the next Surface Pro but I feel like it will just be a battery and slight spec bump and not a redesign.

I'm not a huge fan of HTC, Samsung or any of the other big OEMs outside of Motorola so all their new stuff doesn't interest me.

  1. Surface Pro 4 - Surface Pro 3 is awesome. Really excited on how they will improve the 4
  2. Note 5 (hopefully Samsung will fix all the annoyances of Touch Wiz and more centered on the Material Design)
  3. Xperia Z4 - Sony needs to drop the 16GB BS on their international phones
  4. Next version of the Alienware Alpha or Steambox consoles
  5. iPad Pro if it is coming

Lumia 1520 successor

Until I can manage an iPhone 6 Plus (from work), I am using a Lumia 1520 and it's pretty nice. Windows 8.1 is pretty good. Yeah, there's a dearth of apps, but it still works pretty well. The screen is nice, the battery lasts a long time, and the camera is pretty good. It's successor should be sweet with windows 10.

My main phone is my Note 3. Of course, I'm looking forward to the Note 5. Also, I hope Samsung updates their Note tablets, especially their Note 8.

The moto x line is good and I want to see if they get serious with their camera. We'll see...

I'm curious about the iPad Pro. Hopefully, the retina MacBook Air can really handle the improved screen and runs well. Again, we'll see...

- Real BlackBerry Z10 successor
- Jolla Phone 2
- Jolla Tablet with cellular (make it LTE)
- Lollipop for my Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2
- maxiPad if Lollipop not good

Looking forward to:

- Surface Pro 4 with AMOLED and AMD 14nm APU

- 6" Note 5 with minimal bezel where sensors are embedded in transparent display, 4GB+ DRAM, 4K output, updated Smartdock with 4K 60Hz

- Thinner Gear S with greater than 2 day battery life

- 4K 40" AMOLED monitor to replace current LCD

I'm looking more forward to separate technologies rather than devices themselves.

Interested in phones with Snapdragon 810 and 4GB RAM. I won't be interested in any phone that does not have 4GB RAM.

USB Type-C is very exciting! And so is Wi-Fi AD.

Cameras interest me. It's a big selling point to me. I wonder if Microsoft will release Lumia 1030 and how good it'll be. That phone interests me. If it turns out to be truly phenomenal and better than 808 PureView, I'll get it.

Out of all the tablets only Surface Pro 4 is interesting, but even then, Intel is in a transitional phase and Broadwell CPUs aren't fully baked. SkyLake and Cannonlake Surface Pros will be the real deal.

I am actually planning on buying this next year though, a bit of topic but cool as.

It will be interesting to see if the SD 810 solves the overheating problems when filming in 4K. It's interesting how mobile phones have in a way lead the reason for 4K TV's as there's very little content for them at present otherwise.

YouTube fo sho.

Why AMD and why AMOLED?
