Why AMD and why AMOLED?

Anyone who owns the Surface Pro 3 can tell you about the backlight bleed that is a problem with all LCDs especially during BIOS screen and Intel's subpar graphics performance even when it's not throttling. Those are the achilles hill of my SP3 otherwise everything else is excellent.

I have a Surface Pro 3. I don't know if AMD graphics outweigh their power hungry CPU, though.

I'm looking forward to the Nexus 6 64GB being in stock and hopefully a 64GB Moto X.

I'm looking forward to seeing if Samsung releases their line of devices with a near stock experience.

The next gen Nexus.

Next Gen Moto x.

Only surface pro -line. Im skipping sp3 and waiting for it to be released with the broadwell architecture. I already have all differend kind of devices and none of them need to be replaced, but I want to have a smaller win-comp than my 15" zenbook. Nothing wrong with it but I just want to get smaller one and with a pen and touchscreen to be able to use as a tablet. But don't know.. I don't need anything, so it would be only consuming, using resources and polluting for northing...

A reasonably priced iPad Pro would be nice!

Actually was just bout to post that I would like to see an iPad pro 12 with optional Wacom digitiser / stylus for illustrating.

At the moment I like my note pro 12.2 for drawing but still irks me many android apps aren't optimised for tablets, and I like the iPad but wish it had proper stylus support for illustrating.

So give me the combo of the two and my 2015 will be happy

Yes, mobile devices should have a stylus and a storage slot for it.

I don't know, that means either a thin device with a tiny stylus or a much thicker device with a more pen like version. When I had both a Note 10.1 and SP2, while I like having the slot to store the S-Pen, it's a PITA to use, like writing with a toothpick. I much prefer the larger, pen-type stylus used on the SP or offered as an accessory by Samsung, and would be just fine with a spot to store it in a case or clipped onto the side of the device.

2015 ...What devices will you be looking for?

Samsung do sell a separate bigger stylus, and it's actually more ergonomic than the surface pro stylus.

I just want apple to actually have one available even if it was optional. I realise they are niche and not everyone like me likes to paint / illustrate so I have no problem paying extra for one with an iPad, and I don't care really about storing it in the device as I say the one I use on the note pro 12.2 doesn't fit in the device either - I just want the option to use a decent one on the art programmes on an iPad :)

I don't put a phone in a case. It must have a stylus slot.

New Year resolution is stay tuned in with lower priced smarties on the market.

The Ascend Mate 2 I just got is OUTSTANDING for the price. Completely took my mind off getting the Nexus 6 as a large phablet in just a couple of days. Great ram management, minimal bloat and is very fast even with Snapdragon 400. I thought some of the folks on Amazon pumping this one up with rave reviews were blowing smoke but not so.

And the Motos I bought this year were also great bang for buck devices.

I'm looking forward to the next iPad Mini, so long as they upgrade the specs. I've had a Nook HD for about a year now since it was cheap and I was just looking to try out a tablet, so I'll be happy to have a much better tablet.

I hear ya. I personally rarely used the S-Pen with my Note 2 but found it far more useful on the previously mentioned tablets. As I generally don't carry my tablets around without a case, I'd gladly sacrifice it being able to be stored internally for the far better ergonomic experience of they pen-sized versions. But of course, to each their own.

I do the same thing.

++

I like to follow the technology and what's new, and watch all the tech shows, just as CES, MWC, etc... but rarely do I ever buy stuff.

It's always "eh, I could upgrade, but... there is going to be this new tech out in couple of month, better wait for that".

Does anyone actually have the Amazon echo? That is something I am very interested in, but it seems like tech sites are the only ones who got invites.

Just one the new Xperia Z Tablet, providing its still 10 inches. Maybe a Surface Pro if MS re-introduce the 10 inch model alongside the current version.

I'm waiting for the M9, but only if it has a decent camera. No UltraPixel bullsh**.

I've been wanting to get out of Samsung camp for a long time but there's nothing that I like. Nexus should be the choice but the 5 lacked on so many things and the 6 is just too damn big.
