I'd say that there is a good chunk of them that do have the issue. 6/6 of the computers I had were affected all on different keys some more severe than others.Or all 2016+ MacBooks have the same problem ?

Not according to owners. But as I said above, all may have it to some degree, but not enough to bother most people. It may be similar to screen uniformity. All screens of the type on the MBP have some degree of uneven brightness and color, but usually it's not noticeable to most people.Or all 2016+ MacBooks have the same problem ?

No, not at all like that."screen uniformity?" Just like staingate?
See above. I've already answered that very clearly. This is a keyboard-! Have you ever seen like this macbook before?
Heat Issue + Noise from Plastic Part (under the keyboard) = what do you think?
Just got a notification from FedEx that my new MBP is scheduled to be delivered Tuesday. I'll immediately run tests and report back with my findings!
Wonder what that means.Upon looking to see what the status of my repair was, I found that it was still under the "service" tab and below that it says "on hold - need information"
Me too, I tried looking into it online, but everything on the topic is circa 2006...Wonder what that means.
I imagine it has to do with the type of repair, my advisor said it was a "reshaping of the keys" I called him again to make sure everything was going smoothly only to find that he's not in again until Thursday. If the message remains the same tomorrow afternoon when I check, I will certainly be calling Apple support again for another senior advisor...This whole situation is becoming so irritatingMe too, I tried looking into it online, but everything on the topic is circa 2006...
Good news/bad news... I got my MBP replacement a day early. Bad news, it has at least two keys with this annoying click! I just left a voicemail with the senior adviser I was working with and let him know. Awaiting a call back.
Apple, what gives!?!
Further testing reveals that at least 10 keys are popping now!
Bummer. Call and see if they can repair it in house. If not, and you want it repaired, it may be out for a while. There are home remedies back a few posts, but they carry some risk of breaking a key.So after my early 2011 **** the bed two weeks ago, I ordered the new 15 inch with touch bar, 2.9, 1tb, 460.
Arrived today, and began to notice this sticking/popping sound on my M and N keys. Here we are... What's the course of action? Genius bar? I'm not too pleased to be frank.
if you just received it, you're better off returning and ordering a new one than letting your brand new machine get taken apart and put back.So after my early 2011 **** the bed two weeks ago, I ordered the new 15 inch with touch bar, 2.9, 1tb, 460.

PS: Ask the Apple Store folks if they have the shims, which are what Apple is using for repairs for this. If so, they can repair quickly. So after my early 2011 **** the bed two weeks ago, I ordered the new 15 inch with touch bar, 2.9, 1tb, 460.

You can request for an advance replacement, where they order and send you a replacement before you return the existing one.My God, another two weeks to wait until the replacement? I have no other computer at the moment.
What shims?

You can do it over the phone, but they may ask you to get some confirmation of the problem at the Genius Bar. So you could start over the phone, and you can prove it with some videos.Ok, would I do this over the phone? Or do I have to go in in person for it.

Shouldn't be a problem, you're welcome!Thank you! I'll give them a call tomorrow and see how it goes.
If you can't arrange the advance replacement, ask if they can do a repair on site. The shims are tiny bits of material they put under the keys to keep them from making unwanted clicking noise, or so it's been reported. What shims?
