Got it. It seems like the orders that are being pushed back are all the 12 inch versions. Maybe the 10.5 isn’t as popular as I thought lol.

It's not showing up in tracking yet, but it's conceivable I will get it Monday.

Just got an email my 10.5" 64gb Space Grey has shipped via UPS. Placed my order on June 7th. At the time of the order it said I would receive it on June 15th. Now it says Delivers on June 13th!

I tried the 12.9 last year and then returned; it's just too big and not portable for me. The 10.5 will be portable for us when traveling and like you said, the perfect size.

Ours get dropped by parachute out of the air cargo flight from China
Anybody had theirs shipped in US yet? Ordered the first day, maybe 3 hours after the event. Wondering when mine will be done being prepared!
Same here, just Germany. They may not ship from China as they do for the US, but instead more locally. In that case overnight shipping is no problem. From my experience MacBooks ship from China to worldwide orders and iPads only from China to the US or the appropriate EU Warehouses (Netherlands & Poland (??)).
I agree. In Europe we will only be able to track the delivery from local warehouses e.g. Eindhoven, Netherlands (where my MacBook Pro 2016 start coming from and was delivered overnight to Düsseldorf). So very likely European iPads are already flying in or are even arrived and will be dispatched latest Monday. Overnight shipping via UPS or DHL to you should therefore no big deal.
My 256GB/Space Grey model just jumped to prepare to ship.
Usually in Europe (at least Netherlands) Apple uses a logistics company calles Syncreon, which has a warehouse in Tilburg. From there stuff is handed over to DHL or UPS.
I only hope they avoid the big cluster f*ck I experienced with the ATV4 launch. It was shipped wih DHL, from Tilburg, then the package went to Brussels, back to Amsterdam and to my home. Of course, the driver did not manage to diliver my package in time.
I hope its UPS this time, have more faith in them.
The iPad order shipping thread is usually much larger than this after a few days so doesn't seem like too many are ordering Ipads.

My 10.5/256GB/SG/Wi-Fi charged this morning around 9AM MST. Shortly there after it moved into ‘Preparing’. Expected delivery date is 6/13 with overnight shipping. So excited!
Yeah I ordered a 10.5" as well just in case the 12.9" was too big for me. I figured I could either flip it for more or return it, with my preference on the former so I could save a few bucks on the 12.9".The iPad order shipping thread is usually much larger than this after a few days so doesn't seem like too many are ordering Ipads.
