I think the halo is ugly and agree it could have been implemented better - and I’m sure it will be in coming seasons.

BUT something I’m looking forward to is that with this new visual obstruction, different drivers will struggle while others will be bettter. Will be interesting to see.

Also.. Haas unveiling doesn’t look ugly but still meh. After months of seeing awesome renders on social media, it’s a bit of a let down. Hopefully the other teams have something more juicy to unveil.

I agree. Some drivers will struggle some will not. I think this is the real unknown this year. IMO, F1 took Seb's complaints over the clear shield too seriously, and abandoned it too quickly. The halo is going to be a big news maker.

I'll be on my Prancing Horse all season as always. I'd love to see Kimi go out on top. Along with Senna and Schumacher, Kimi will always be in my top 3. :apple:

I like the Alfa Romeo branding. Glad they did away with that awful fin.

Hmmm, interesting logo on the headrest. Kind of reminds me of chrome "girls" on a big truck mudflap.

Haha it’s Kappa.. very popular Italian sportswear company. It’s a new deal for Sauber.

The Alfa colors look great. I hope they can produce a decent car. The new Renault is out too, looks awesome! I’ll let someone else post the pics :D

Dang it!

I missed the Renault launch...
I'll get on it...

It's an Alfa partnership. They'll be using Ferrari engines. Alfa does have a few current engines that are rock solid. They're just not too meaty. Their electrical systems are a bit wank, though.

And because of the Alfa partnership... (and maybe because Sauber agreed to let LeClerq have the drivers seat) Sauber is getting the 2018 Ferrari engine! Unlike last year where they had to use year old uncompetitive engines. With the 2018 engine, Alfa onboard, and (hopefully) a good winter programme, Sauber could fight for the 4th and 5th constructors spot. Or maybe that's too optimistic

Too optermistic!

Ricardo didn't think much of his new RBR. He lost it.

That car needs a title sponsor. So much blank orange space. Ferrari team hats actually have their logo on the front now that Santander is out of the fold
