We are running 2018 MBPs in the office and to date I've heard no one having issues.

Same here. Actually (and I should knock on wood), this MacBook Pro 2018 15" is the only Mac I've had (I began with the Mac SE!) that has never had a freeze or kernel panic.

Hi there,
same issue here:
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)
2,9 GHz Intel Core i9
32 GB DDR4
Radeon Pro Vega 20

I use an iMac as destination monitor with original Apple adapter Thunder3 to Thunder2 and I experience the issue once per day.

UPDATE:
At Genius Bar told me that the issue has been experienced before so they decided to give me a new Macbook to exclude hardware issues and because I'm in 14 days of return policy.
The Apple diagnose tool didn't give any issue.

I've finished the setup and started using my new machine, I'll keep you updated.

My 2018 MBP with Vega20 ran 100% fine for 50 days uptime on 10.14.3. No crashes, no hickups what so ever.
After upgrading to 10.14.4 I have had several "Bridge OS" crashes, where the fans spin up like crazy and then the computer just crashes and dies. This has even happened while the laptop was in Sleep mode.

Has anyone else had Bridge OS crash errors on their 2018 MBP's after updating to 10.14.4?

I had those kinds of crashes all the way through 10.14.4. Now on 10.14.5 beta, I have not had one since that update... yet.

I can’t be sure, but your error message suggest an issue within the Intel CPU. CATERR = catastrophic error.

I had good times on 10.14.3 and bridge 3.3 also (2018 15” i7 Vega 20). 10.14.4 and 3.4 bridge gave me trouble. Reverted back to 10.14.3 (bridge is stuck at 3.4 though) and I lasted 8 days before a crash, much better than the every other day crashing on 10.14.4

The most frustrating thing about this crash is it’s crazy unpredictability. I often have no peripherals attached and am just on safari browsing and then the cursor stops moving and trackpad/keyboard loses input. Not watching videos, no sound playing, not doing demanding GPU or cpu work, running on integrated graphics, no external monitors, no USB devices. Like wtf???

No luck guys, brand new Macbook Pro but Bridge OS again after reconnecting iMac as destination monitor and restore from stand-by but now I think that Apple categorised it as a bug "bug_type":"210"}:

I think that the problem is related to restore from sleep mode..

wow this thread was an eye opener. i was debating between the imac pro and the new imac i9. Going to get the imac i9 since it doesn't have the T2 chip. Ridiculous that Apple charges so much for these machines and ignores the T2 problem going on 2 years now!
I have a 2018 MBP that I should be in love with but I’m really jealous of the 2019 iMac’s killer feature: no T2. Genius move by Tim Apple.

Same issue here on a brand new MBP. Random restarts when using After Effects, Premiere, illustrator combo..... not sure if whatever I'm running app wise has any bearing I think it feels like a load on the video card.

I hated my last MBP, 2016. Keyboard sucked and kept getting stuck keys. Now this with this one.

I've had two of these kernel panics on my 2018 13" MBP, most recently on 10 April under 10.14.4.

Today, perhaps unrelatedly perhaps not, the Touch ID sensor on the machine no longer even scans my finger. In other words, it's not that it doesn't recognize the fingerprint: it doesn't "see" that a finger is there. Attempting to add a new fingerprint fails for the same reason. Going in to the local equivalent of the Genius Bar tomorrow.

Still no kernel panic under 10.14.5 beta. Becoming more and more optimistic that Apple might have fixed the issue.

I have not had any kernel panics in 6 months after getting them so much that I was ready to sell my MB(2018). Only thing I did was a complete wipe and reinstall. I wish Apple wasn't so secretive about the source of the problem.

Has anyone else had Bridge OS crash errors on their 2018 MBP's after updating to 10.14.4?

I am having the same issues, it happened twice within a month I believe.

I am not sure if this happened on 10.14.3 but the last crash was on 10.14.4.

How can I find out old Log files to check when the last time this happened? They somehow do not show up as Kernel Panics?

Also, my last error message starts like this

Code:
