Are you going to order the new iPhone 14?

It will come, but it will likely be sometime next week.

I have tracking information for 1 of my 2 iPhone 14 Pros and both were ordered within 15 minutes of each other and have a 9/16 date. Apple will be processing and moving these devices a lot over this week. You might see yours move faster as cancellations get processed, but the only guarantee you have right now is your confirmed range.

If you want to speed it up you’ll need to refresh the local Apple Store on Apple.com and see if you get lucky on a pickup time. But you might end up having to float 1 iPhone until you can return it if you get that local spot at a point where your online order can’t be cancelled.

Aren’t launch day‘s fun?!

I guess it beats the old days where people camped outside of the stores for days!
I wish I could do that!
There’s no apple stores in my country, only retailers. And with retailers you don’t get option to buy AC+ , it’s some crappy third party insurance.
Moreover there’s no returns. Even when I’ve ordered from apple.com directly.
I’m really hoping it comes on the 16 or 17 and not 20th.

I hope so we as well 🤞🏾

But don’t sweat it. You’ll have it soon!

I know it's not the same carrier, but I have Verizon and my 11 Pro Max that I upgraded to the 13 Pro Max last year arrived with an eSIM already programmed into the phone. I just turned on the phone and it moved my cellular plan over to the eSIM and deactivated my physical SIM that I had in the 11 Pro Max. I just assumed that when these phones go out they will have a new eSIM attached to them as well and your service will convert over to the newly assigned eSIM on the new phones.
Gotcha, sounds like you ordered the 13pm from Verizon? I ordered from Apple and I’m hoping that won’t cause issues.

It shows cancelled…. I got a credit pull, I’m part of the upgrade program. And I can’t upgrade because it says I have an upgrade in progress…

On the chat with them now but I think I’m screwed
Man this sucks!
I don’t think all hope is lost, as long as you can do a store pick up with the upgrade program there’s still a chance you get launch day or close to it at least.
Hell, pick up on launch day outright purchase and return it later. You’ll enjoy the new phone while this mistake is fixed.

I gotta be honest, I’m a little nervous about my esim situation. I’m on Xfinity mobile and they don’t seem to be very prepared. And my current iPhone only does physical sim so I need to go straight to esim on the 14 pro somehow.

Hopefully I don’t need to visit their store cause I’d rather enjoy the iPhone right after I finally get it and not wait any longer. 😂 We shall see.

I don’t have XFinity Mobile, but they do have the iPhone 14 listed on their site for preorder… So hopefully that means they’ll be on the ball by 9/16…

Pretty upsetting tho. Going through all the Pre-order. Waking up early. Refreshing. Going through credit check with a hard inquiry, just to have it canceled for no reason.

I would say contact Apple. They will make it right right you. May throw a free Apple Watch band for you or something. Keep us posted.

Horrible customer service. I think I’m screwed
Don't go with the chat route. Call them. Demand to speak to a manager or supervisor and have them look into it. If they refuse to do so tell them. You only want to speak to a manager.

If all fails, call Apple Corporate Office. An operator will answer the phone and let her know you want to speak to "Customer Relations". They will route your call. This can only be done on M-F 9-5. Business hours.

What time did you get your order in? Did you at all get charged taxes, or see preparing for shipment?

@PatrickBoland Also, call this internal number. This number gets routed directly to the manager's at Apple.com who specializes in Sales, orders and logistics.

1-866-254-8313

1-866-254-8313 - EXT: 210-2215 (This number is a direct number for one of the Apple manager I dealt with).

Good luck! dang, this sucksss!
