Unfortunately the closest Apple store to me is an hour+ away. Iā€™m definitely thinking about trying a walk-in, but Iā€™d hate to get there and then immediately turn around and drive back home.
Online order, in store pickup. Gotta keep monitoring store inventories before you go.

Refresh, refresh, refresh. You've got muscle memory by now.

People with assigned tracking shipments already. Members of the first shipment wave batches.

This is what you guys are going through below: You will not be able to see those due to Apple restricting UPS not to release the full transcripts until Thursday. (Until Import Scan hits). The final stamp is going to be the "Your package has been released by the government agency). Again, you will not see that. You will simply see the "Departure scan". Also, Notice the date and time difference. There is a bit of a wait from 1-3 days. The whole process takes time.

This is what you are expected to see. "Departed From Facility" Expect that to hit tomorrow. (USA) time. My guess is evening time (PST).

Very useful, thank you for sharing. So what this means is that we wonā€™t know from UPS when the flight takes off, we only learn of it on UPS a couple days later, is that right?

Correct. I just checked FlightAware and I don't see any assigned flight going to CGO to Korea. However, it may populate tomorrow. I have high hope people will see "Departure scan" tomorrow.

What @Whistler Mac just said. That is 100% correct. The nitty gritty stuff will show up on Thursday, after Apple tells UPS to release it to the consumers.

Gotcha, thanks!

I remember seeing all the nitty gritty populate only after US Customs clearance upon processing at WorldPort in Louisville, KY. Gave me something to look at while I waited for my flight to arrive on launch day.

Anyone with updates on 17-20 sep delivery. I have no tracking, but Iā€™m also not in the states.

I gotta be honest, Iā€™m a little nervous about my esim situation. Iā€™m on Xfinity mobile and they donā€™t seem to be very prepared. And my current iPhone only does physical sim so I need to go straight to esim on the 14 pro somehow.

Hopefully I donā€™t need to visit their store cause Iā€™d rather enjoy the iPhone right after I finally get it and not wait any longer. šŸ˜‚ We shall see.

From what Iā€™ve read if they support quick switch then itā€™ll convert your sim to esim. If not itā€™s either online portal for your carrier or the store

Yesss, I read about Quick Transfer, it looks so convenient. Unfortunately, my carrier wasnā€™t listed on Appleā€™s Quick Transfer-eligible list. šŸ˜” Iā€™ll still try it, though! šŸ˜†

It will come, but it will likely be sometime next week.

I have tracking information for 1 of my 2 iPhone 14 Pros and both were ordered within 15 minutes of each other and have a 9/16 date. Apple will be processing and moving these devices a lot over this week. You might see yours move faster as cancellations get processed, but the only guarantee you have right now is your confirmed range.

If you want to speed it up youā€™ll need to refresh the local Apple Store on Apple.com and see if you get lucky on a pickup time. But you might end up having to float 1 iPhone until you can return it if you get that local spot at a point where your online order canā€™t be cancelled.

Arenā€™t launch dayā€˜s fun?!

I guess it beats the old days where people camped outside of the stores for days!

I know it's not the same carrier, but I have Verizon and my 11 Pro Max that I upgraded to the 13 Pro Max last year arrived with an eSIM already programmed into the phone. I just turned on the phone and it moved my cellular plan over to the eSIM and deactivated my physical SIM that I had in the 11 Pro Max. I just assumed that when these phones go out they will have a new eSIM attached to them as well and your service will convert over to the newly assigned eSIM on the new phones.

Just looked at changing my phone to he picked up at the local ups store which is .5 miles away. It said it will be available on Monday the 19th instead of Friday. That is lame!!
You gotta select UPS CC. it was wonderful when I got the 12Pro. There was no line/ no one and I got it as soon as they opened up for public.

Best way would be to to an online order for store pick up. They always have stock on launch day. This way you get confirmation of availability.
