Hi all, my leather case shipped but it going to the wrong address because my original order was messed up with the address. Apple was able to fix the phone going to the correct address.

Any advice on how I can get UPS to either reroute the case or not deliver it to the old one?

Give UPS a call and explain your situation.

I just tried asking UPS for my tracking number and the idiots refused me at every turn. I provided my reference number and they said Apple provides the tracking number.

Make a ups account and you should be able to see any incoming packages addressed to you

Been battling UPS over My Choice and not being able to add a phone number to my tracking options (it uses this to see packages coming to us). They say it's already there, it's not. They also cannot track by reference as nothing comes up, which is wrong - I see it. They say My Choice has some issues and DEV is working on fixing it. Uhhuh. UPS support is just plain terrible. I will not renew (actually can't because I keep getting errors lol). They need to fix their crap.

UPS 82 landing in PVG. Hoping after it unloads in PVG it flies to CGO to pick up at least Wave 1. Could see where it goes next in a few hours. UPS 92 landing at ICN shortly could be following same track.

This is not fully correct. Packages use your address, name, zip AND phone number sometimes. Specifically the case with Apple iPhone shipments. Your phone number IS the reference number! If you don't have that info linked as an option for searching packages, it will not show up.

I know it was likely a supply issue that resulted in them reusing the A15 in the iPhone 14, but I think that may have turned a lot of people off of the phones. I think if they had put the A16 in the regular 14’s then they may have had better sales. It was an understandable business decision, but the general public just thinks the phones are going to be slower.

Honestly, I think the general public has no idea what processor is in last years phone vs. this years, however those who typically preorder are the ones who know those things. Personally, I think it'll affect preorders, but once they get in stores and your average joe's/jane's go to upgrade a reused processor chip will not make it on their radar or dissuade them from purchasing the latest iphone in their price category.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if this is laying the groundwork for for the regular model to a year behind the Pro model in processing power...

Keeping a very close eye on this flight. It is set to depart within an hour or so. If this is the flight that will be taking wave 1 and wave 2 iPhones we should see a departure scan tomorrow. All of us!

From Alaska to Korea - It’s a good 8-9 hour flight.

From Korea to China - It's a good 2-3 hour flight.

Total duration: 12 hours.

If this is the flight that will be carrying out iPhones expect activity to hit late night or early morning. All on USA time.

I should be in the first or perhaps second wave given that I preordered within the first couple of minutes, however nothing is showing up in MyChoice. Apple is sending the phone with my maiden name for whatever reason, which I believe might be where the problem is. And of course UPS won’t let me change my name or add myself as another household member because of glitches. Customer support is no help and they refuse to help me find my tracking number by reference. I’ve been tracking with y’all (usually silently) for years now. Sad to not be able to partake.

It's not showing up. I was able to see the last 4 digits via Track by Reference but that's it.

Does anyone else who ordered through AT&T NOT have a shipping number yet? Status still says Expected delivery on Thurs September 15, and "Great news! We're getting ready to ship your order" but no luck with my choice or fedex delivery planner. I just want to be able to stalk planes with you all again lol

It appears that the group with "Postal Service" and just 9/23 listed have moved onto UPS shipping and 9/16 delivery (although nothing has changed in the App Store). I can't say I've seen anyone with the erroneous "Postal Service" and a date range like 9/23-10/3 report UPS tracking yet. My suspicion would be that these are indeed phones with a real later delivery date that the launch day ones, although who knows when that date will be. When was your order done, and what was the promised shipping date at the time of order? Being that the 9/23 groups almost all reported being told 9/16 at the time of ordering (and appear to be getting 9/16) - I'd assume that what you were told at ordering is what will occur, ignoring the Apple Store date if it's associated with "postal service". And I'm sure they will be coming UPS whenever it happens.

I need some clarification regarding requesting for pick up at a local hub with a fee. Does the fee apply ONLY when you call and the package is currently still outside the US? We would not be charged once the package arrives in Anchorage? Or regardless?

All through the ordering process it said the 16th. It wasn't until I got the email that the dates were pushed out..

flip- login to UPS on the web. Top right, click your initial circle, then preferences. Box on the far right "UPS My Choice Membershps", click edit preferences. Under Package Matching Options, add your phone number. Will resolve the issue.

I wonder if you order from a carrier like AT&T and Verizon on there website I wonder if the phones are locked to the carrier?

I wonder if the carrier phones on Apple website are locked also- to me I think they are or might not since if the phones can have multiple esim plans then they could be unlocked now from the carriers, but if the phones still had the physical sim card then I think they would be locked

Only AT&T phone will be locked all others are unlocked

It does get added eventually as a reference number as well as the Apple order number minus the last two characters.

Not sure if they will do this, but have you tried just calling Apple and asking them if they can give you the tracking number? They have to know what it is. They might say that they can't until it shows as shipped, which won't be until the phone clears customs the day before it actually is delivered, but it's worth a try if you can't get it from UPS.
