For everyone that kept saying that all phones ship out of china or that I was mistaken and it was a case not a phone. It finally sent an email with the tracking number so you can see mine was from Indiana.

My phone still says "preparing to ship" but I'm guessing like the rest of you it's already shipped. How can I find it on FedEx or UPS without a tracking number? I desperately need to change the address it's being shipped to.

flip- login to UPS on the web. Top right, click your initial circle, then preferences. Box on the far right "UPS My Choice Membershps", click edit preferences. Under Package Matching Options, add your phone number. Will resolve the issue.
It didn't work. No luck :/

Good morning and Happy iOS 16 launch day!

I need some clarification regarding requesting for pick up at a local hub with a fee. Does the fee apply ONLY when you call and the package is currently still outside the US? We would not be charged once the package arrives in Anchorage? Or regardless?
You shouldn't have a fee to pick up at the local UPS hub. I've done that multiple years. I just call the local hub and ask for it to be held. They take my tracking number and put a hold on it and then I just go in and pick it up. I've never had to pay a fee.

So...I guess replying in the Apple.com order thread when you actually oerdered direct from T-mobile isn't the cause of confusion???

:p

You will need a UPS MyChoice account. It is free to open. Just make sure you use the address that the phone is being shipped to when you sign up. All shipments to that address should show up.

You’re not mistaken. There’s a ton of false information being thrown around in this thread. The phones originate in China, but they’ve been in the States for days at this point waiting to be delivered (we have trailers full of them). Its been done this same way for years.

That’s what I thought. I was never charged before when I request a pick up. I’ve been reading that folks are now being a charged so just wanted to get clarity on that. Thank you!

Unless you placed the order from a carrier, all iPhone orders placed directly from Apple comes from China.

UPS 92 finally landed in South Korea. Will be tracking it to see if it goes to China. If it does, It will carry Wave 1 iPhone 14's. Also eyeing on UPS 86 flight.

I just felt like I was being attacked and everyone kept saying it was a case when it wasn’t. Why would I lie, I didn’t order a case.

^^^ This is correct.

I knew some phones are already in the US at Apple or carrier warehouses.

Reason being, I bought 2 iPhone 12s - both Pro - 2 years ago - 1 delivered from Ontario/Fontana, CA warehouse 10 miles away via Fed-Ex Ground on launch day.

The other was from China and went thru ANC and SDF airports for international standard delivery on launch day.

Here's one of my TMO phones here in the USA at their warehouse waiting for Friday launch day.

Just checking, have you seen any new scans yet from ZhengZhou? I thought for sure by the time I woke up this morning there would have been a new scan. Now it's 9:35 PM there. You would have thought something would have happened today. ☹️
See post above #9094., please. We are hoping one of both of these flights will be getting us out of China. Wave 1 is expected to depart today. Expect activity! Happy and safe travels!!!

Did you order directly from T-Mobile? I'm wondering if they are shipping phones stateside instead of directly from China. I'm guessng carriers get their own stock and then ship from the US?

Nobody attacking..you are simply posting in the wrong thread.

If a T-Mobile order tracking thread doesn't exist yet, you are welcome to start one. I've participated in the AT&T thread in the past...you are just confusing everyone with irrelevant comments, that's all. No real harm done.

Now...leave....🤣
