I was initially part of the first batch going out, but I think I may be stuck with Wave 2 haha.

These cases get so much praise on these forums. Are they really that good? Was there a paid sponsorship opportunity I missed out on? :p

No paid sponsorship over here! Im notorious for switching cases.... I saw an add on social media somewhere for this case and the texture on the back is the best. Doesn't show smudges and or slippery. Once I got it for my 12pro I legit stopped looking for other cases. So that was shocking so I had to get a new one for the iPhone 14pro!

Thanks for the informative response. Maybe I'll try one out once my clear case starts to yellow and get greasy/gross, and I felt I've shown off the new Deep Purple color enough. ;)

Not really missing out. Put it like this.

If you want luxury then you go with the Apple Watch Series 8 in gold or stainless with matching band. You want large and sporty you go with the ultra.

So there are some that prefer a beautiful hooked up Rolls Royce. Then there are those that need something larger and sporty. Maybe a large Jeep or Land Rover, luxury isn't the main choice here.

So two different types of watches.
Honestly the Ultra looks almost indistinguishable from the comically oversized / tacky looking Android "smartwatches" that I have been poking fun at for years... I can see maybe 2-3% of the population actually needing any of the features that the Ultra brings.

You should be able to pick it up first thing in the morning of your delivery day instead of having to wait for the driver. The location might have certain customer pick up times that you'd want to verify before going over, but it should definitely be earlier than waiting for the driver to come to your house.
Unfortunately, that isn't always the case. In many country and rural areas there is only a UPS store or similar 3rd party location that are used as a location to hold packages. It is very standard for the local UPS driver or contracted delivery service working for UPS to drop off packages being held at the end of the route late in the day, and not first thing in the morning. While actual UPS centers can usually be counted on for a morning pickup, in more rural areas held packages are often not available until the late afternoon or even the next day due to delivery at the hold location being after business hours.

The other thing is that my company gives me $600/year to spend on health-related expenses (gym memberships, home exercise equipment, etc), so that essentially gives me a free Apple Watch every year (counts as a "fitness tracker"). I wouldn't bother upgrading if it wasn't "free," but since it is...welllllll. I guess I could get $600 off an Ultra, but I really just don't need all those extra features
Then go with the Series 8.

These are two different watches. One is only better then the other if the person cares for the features. Its like saying my three row seater Jeep SUV is better then your 4 door Bentley. Um no because I want luxury you want larger.

Do you all think if someone knew the pilots or any of the crew they would do a live stream of the iPhone 14s flying from China or no ? Security risk ?
Security risk and sterile cockpit violation.

I am 3 for 4, in receiving items (accessories) shipped from GEODIS in Mt. Juliet. Each of those 3 orders had to be ordered again by Apple. One was "misplaced" at GEODIS twice.

I was happy when my 14 Pro Max case shipped from Plainfield, IN., which is XPO Logistics.
I have had a GEODIS loss as well

Are they all still in ZhengZhou too? I thought I saw someone post their phone being in Kentucky.

You mean this one that I sent a screen shot of earlier? Nah it's still in ZZ, mine just shows that it's clearance is in progress. It's not actually in KY. Just the paperwork is electronic. BTW this is Aftership App that I'm using. The UPS app or the website version will remain hidden.

I'm not sure how Aftership for some reason was able to get this info tho.

Not here-I'm queen of the cheap case. Hasn't let me down yet!

we need @StaceyMJ86 our USPS expert to weigh in on this

And screen replacements are $300+. Even for someone who never broke a phone I can’t risk it. I always get monthly Apple Care+. Worst case it covers a battery replacement.
A battery replacement once it goes below 80% right ? That in itself is a painful process to endure especially when it sits at 82-84% for a year or so 🤣

Agreed. For me, it's on a needs basis.

"Wow! This bad boy has a functioning diver's watch!"

"So, you dive?"

Well, no...but it's cool..."
