That's the problem...two people asked for a screenshot showing phone tracking showing it in the US...you responded separately to those threads with screenshot showing NOT in the US...was confusing.

Still no response from the original poster??
Okay. Sorry. The poster that I responded to didn't mention that they wanted a screenshot that showed the phone in the US. It's just a guess, but perhaps the phones in the US are for Verizon, T-Mobile, etc customers.

If you are not getting an Apple Watch Ultra this year. You are missing out. Apple Watch 6/7/8 are all the same. Same design just minimal effects. But AW ultra is something else. It’s different. If you like bigger watches get it. To top it off, it’s freaking Titanium man. Titanium feels very nice in your hands. It’s lightweight, elegant yet premium. All exclusive! Been upgrading my Apple Watch since S3 and never skipped a year. Once I went with expensive titanium models I never looked back.
Not really missing out. Put it like this.

If you want luxury then you go with the Apple Watch Series 8 in gold or stainless with matching band. You want large and sporty you go with the ultra.

So there are some that prefer a beautiful hooked up Rolls Royce. Then there are those that need something larger and sporty. Maybe a large Jeep or Land Rover, luxury isn't the main choice here.

So two different types of watches.

Couple of things to note: There are 3 (I think now 4 if you include the one in Indianapolis, IN) warehouses in the US that stores iphones (MT, Juliet, TN (Geodis), there is one in PA (can't remember what the name is), there is also one in California (again might be Geodis or something else). That thread you link, that poster indicated that he/she tried to order for launch day but due to connections, that poster got it delivered late. So not a launch day.

Once supply and demand catches up, any phones will then be stored in the warehouses and eventually if you order it it will be shipped from one of those locations. I bet you if you had ordered one in January of 2023, that it will come from a warehouse and not from China.
I am 3 for 4, in receiving items (accessories) shipped from GEODIS in Mt. Juliet. Each of those 3 orders had to be ordered again by Apple. One was "misplaced" at GEODIS twice.

I was happy when my 14 Pro Max case shipped from Plainfield, IN., which is XPO Logistics.

The other thing is that my company gives me $600/year to spend on health-related expenses (gym memberships, home exercise equipment, etc), so that essentially gives me a free Apple Watch every year (counts as a "fitness tracker"). I wouldn't bother upgrading if it wasn't "free," but since it is...welllllll. I guess I could get $600 off an Ultra, but I really just don't need all those extra features

That’s what it is asking. Needs a cc to switch to keep it at the hub
I verified with my local hub (since I have their direct phone number) and they told me that online will ask for a credit card number and they thought the 800 might also, but someone confirmed in a previous post that they didn't have a charge going through the 800 number, so if you don't know your local hub phone number, try the 800 number to see if they can mark it to be held for pick up without a fee.

You should be able to pick it up first thing in the morning of your delivery day instead of having to wait for the driver. The location might have certain customer pick up times that you'd want to verify before going over, but it should definitely be earlier than waiting for the driver to come to your house.
Too many variables and risks associated with this just to save a few hours wait time. I’ve been burned before.

I don’t like playing the order-shipping-delivery angst game so I’ll be upgrading my XR for a 14 ProMax as soon as my local Apple Store has them in stock, which hopefully will be Friday. As I’ll be getting the entry level 128 GB model, I expect that will be in ready supply.

Do you all think if someone knew the pilots or any of the crew they would do a live stream of the iPhone 14s flying from China or no ? Security risk ?
really bro? we really need to relax the phones will be here on schedule

Still no shipment email for me - ordered Sept 9 at 5:02am PST, with delivery date of Sept 16.
iPhone 14 Pro Max Space Black 256gb (mine)
iPhone 14 Pro Max Gold 512gb (wife's)

Not super worried about it yet, but wanted to post so that some of you would know you're not alone.

You won't get the "It shipped" email from Apple until the phones clear customs in Louisville WorldPort. Until then, get on UPS MyChoice and track them from China with the rest of us!

Totally agree. If I was an avid outdoorsy, sports guy, I might get the Ultra. Otherwise for me, it's overkill. I'm never going to buy something solely because someone tells me to buy it. For me, the Ultra is a waste of money; I don't need a lot of its features.

"Missing out"? Nope.
