If so, it would be the iPhone 5 all over again...
If you hold the back up to the light I guarantee it won't be as dark as it looks rn.The only thing I would hate to see is the silver nicks and creaks on that stainless steel frame. I hope that's not the case. Look closely. Is that from regular wear and tear? The camera module looks like it's going to fall out, LOL.
I would've guessed they used that coating to prevent the silver nicks but hmm...
So placed order for 14PM 1TV Space Black on Sep 9th at 610 am MDT - delivery dates Sep 28 - Oct 3
Customer service changed to expedited shipping (express versus standard shipping) - but I do not understand when to expect my order based only on that information. Apple Card not charged, nothing in UPS MyChoice, order status still processing.............
Can anyone help me understand when I may possibly receive the new iPhone as I wish to sell my old AW and 13PM?

I hated seeing the nicks and scratches from common use. It was annoying to see.
I did, my 1st gen did well for two years, recently had an issue with sound/ear tips sounding squishy when in noise cancelling. Noticed that some have experienced the same issue and hope Apple has fixed this problem with gen 2. Loved the sound and comfort of the 1st gen.
Damn, mine does that too. Like static sometimes. Might have to get the Airpods Pro 2's eventually.
I'm very sorry for the whole hassle. You could possibly be in the 3rd/4th wave. If I was in your shoes I would check the Apple retail store website in the morning and see if you can pick it up in the store based on availability. That might be the best and easiest way.

It is the reason why I hated my iPhone 5 and temporarily made a short jump to Android with my One M7. The 5 felt like a step backwards from the 4S to me. I didn't come back to iOS until the iPhone 6 Plus but even that iPhone I wasn't a fan of design-wise. The 6 and 6S felt like prototypes to me and didn't feel polished until the 7/8/SE(2/3) versions. I honestly didn't get excited about iPhone again until the X came out.
