Apple never marks it as shipped until it gets the import scan in KY.

That’s actually how it has always been or at least for as long as I remember. Apple only sends the tracking once it arrives Louisville, KY. Right now your iPhone is most likely still in China.

We just need our ID to pick up the package from the CC, correct? Do you know if it matters if the address on my ID is different from the shipping address on the package? My name is still the same on both my ID and package

They may ask for your tracking number also .. My UPS store asked for that info along with my drivers license

It will arrive to Louisville, KY today for those that departed Alaska. It will just sit KY till Thursday.

Yea it sucks that we have to pay to have it held. I'm a premium UPS member so mine is free. However my premium does end in November. Not sure if I want to renew it then or not. but I do use UPS a lot so it might be worth it for me.

i was looking at my phone case and I told ups to deliver on friday, but if I look at the app it says preparing for delivery and delivery says today

I guess it depends on who helps you. For me, they ask for my ID with the name and the matching address. Along with tracking number.

More recent tho I frequent the UPS CC so they know me very well that they ask for my ID, but they do ask me to verify my mailing address.

Notifications can be printed out or provided on a smart phone.

If your shipper provides a package release code for your delivery, your friend or family member can present their photo ID and the code to pick up your package.*
