Yes! I remember that. Here you go :) This was last year. Posted by @Blueline29

So I didn’t actually watch it land, but I was visiting my in-laws in AK in about May of 2016 and we happened past the airport (the road runs right next to it. It’s freaky) so I made them pull over so I could take a pic *specifically* for launch/tracking threads. Lol.

OMG, @beach bum @julit0 @heyyitssusan @Brad7 @DianaMR did we all pass out last night drinking at the bar at ZZ and miss our plane? Has anyone in wave 2B seen updates? I guess if we're all still stuck in ZZ together, we should start drinking again...mimosas and bloody marys for breakfast!!
I can almost for sure guarantee you guys will move by this evening. I was in Wave 2 and got upgraded to First Class I guess. But you'll catch up. Funny thing is you'll probably get broken down pallets before me! My phone will be buried behind yours in Louisville! :D

Figured, I'd asked this here. I did my first IUP last year with the 13 Pro. I got approved for my 14 Pro yesterday. So I auto assume my old loan will cancel out? Do I need to enter in the new account number on Citizens website or does it automatically do that for me?
I had to get the new loan number from the Citizen One e-mail, log-in to that appleloan site / account, and link the new loan number into my existing account. Once you activate your new phone, or maybe when apple's system confirms delivery - it should put your old loan on hold for a certain period of time - for which you need to return that older phone. If you take too long, they could restart payments on your old phone along with charging on your new one.

Sadly no updates yet :(. I'm in wave 1 but will drink with you in solidarity!

Interesting. You have a 9:50 arrival in ZZ that is showing progress. My 9:50 is still in ZZ. Hopefully I'll see movement on that today.
I'm in the same boat. Stuck in ZZ with a 9:50 arrival there. In the past I've seen delays in clearing customs or packages just sitting somewhere along the way. However, they still arrive on launch day along with the one that are further along the route now.

However, does knowing that make me any less anxious? Of course not! I'm currently wearing out the refresh on the UPS app.

If I change my delivery address to somewhere closer to my work (1/2 mile away) for a hold, it says est del. date on the 19th. If I change it now do you think I would still get it by Fri?

Very nice. Any idea how much is the estimated cost?
Thanks! Not including amortized maintenance, depreciation of the asset, etc, and knowing that UPS likely has significant efficiencies in maintenance cost and fuel (e.g. they buy futures years in advance so have likely at least somewhat insulated themselves from current market conditions on Jet A which have risen but not as much as consumer gasoline prices, though, but still 25-100% YoY depending on where you're fueling), the 747-8 freighter likely costs about $23k to operate per hour (not including landing fees, ground support, etc, but including flight crew), so Incheon to Ted Stevens is a $184,000 bill wet and then Ted Stevens to Worldport is about $207,000, so less than a couple bucks per unit for the wet costs, of course, this doesn't include UPS's margin and value-added services for the customs, handling, etc and is likely offset by efficiencies in UPS's supply, maintenance, and procurement chain that I'd have to guess at, but is likely a 10-15% improvement off the $23k/hr number.

If you sign up for UPS MyChoice (its free) you can get the full tracking info and then we compare flights on flightaware.com to find out which flights our phones are on based on arrival/departure scan times
I did sign up for the free account! Yet I still can't see my full tracking number info šŸ˜…
