still no updates on my AirPods. No charge pending and they haven't moved to preparing to ship yet.

I'm trying to divert my delivery to a UPS Store for pickup, because I expect I'll be at work when it arrives. I went to UPS My Choice, but they want to charge me $5.99 for this change. Is there anyway to get around the charge? I mean, I'm actually asking them to do less work. :/

It’s easier to stomach when you think about your iPhone costing $805.98-$1,205.98 instead to the price of the phone and then an additional $5.99.

Honestly, the $19.99 to opt the year of My Choice Premium will cover you for this delivery, anything else you might have ordered from the keynote, along with next year’s releases.

it is weird to assume that even though "preparing to ship" it is actually moving. for previous macbook pro orders I get the play-by-play from China, to Alaska etc. But apparently not with the iPhone? Weird.

Current status:
- Wife's Deep Purple 256GB Pro departed ZhengZhou, China Mainland at 5:02a (9/13) and arrived in Anchorage at 12:38a (9/13).
- My Silver 256GB Pro is still sitting in ZhengZhou, China Mainland with an arrival time of 9:50a (9/11a).

Odd that we're no longer traveling together... we both had the same arrival times in ZhengZhou, but these pallets are big, and it's not necessarily surprising that they didn't make the same flight considering the quantity. There's still PLENTY of time for mine to make it by Friday. If it still hasn't departed by tomorrow night, I'll be more concerned.

I was able to get the full tracking number with UPS My Choice free. It just populated in the app as a delivery on its way to me.
