How iphones can those planes carry?
Let's say UPS is using their 747-8 Freighter fleet for this (likely, the -400 isn't that different). It can carry 46 AMD containers that are about 748 cu ft usable space. With current dimensions of an iPhone 14 Pro Max box as currently guessed, that's about 4600 iPhones in one, give or take, and assuming UPS isn't loading anything else on board and the MTOW/weight-balance allows for it (it almost certainly does, it'd have to be a really weird situation with runways, weather, etc for it not to...) that's 211,600 (roughly) per 747-800.

Very rough math, but if a UPS employee or logistics specialist wants to correct me, I'm all for it, but this was the rough math adapted from a few large product launches I worked on.

My 14 PM still showing only processing but still has a delivery date of this Friday. Not worried as every one of my iPhones have arrived on time.

Have you signed up for UPS MyChoice?
I have My Choice and I am getting the same tracking "info" when I search for my new iphone using the reference number. This is the first time that I have not gotten my tracking info "early". I even tried calling UPS (what a nightmare) and see if they could give me the full tracking info and they claim that they do not have access to it. Grr..

I'm trying to divert my delivery to a UPS Store for pickup, because I expect I'll be at work when it arrives. I went to UPS My Choice, but they want to charge me $5.99 for this change. Is there anyway to get around the charge? I mean, I'm actually asking them to do less work. :/
If you go back and read we have discussed this at length in this thread.

En Route! Our plane is expected to be in American soil again. Going to pass Wisconson. Good bye Canada!

Take out those extra pilot seats in the plane, we can squeeze some more phones in it. ;):p

Very nice. Any idea how much is the estimated cost?
