Seems like all the fun stuff happened while I was asleep. My little purple nurple arrived AND departed Anchorage, Alaska! 
. I was in the Wave 2 group that must have got lucky sneaking in the first plane. (I am the “year of the rat” after all). Off to Louisville.

i did sign up for UPS MyChoice - no luck. i can only see the last 4 digits of the tracking number...
Unless there is a reason to bring them state-side before the Weds/Thurs overnight sort (labor issues, bad wx forecast, political risk, etc), it's WAY cheaper to keep as much of the inventory (once it is bulk packed on pallets for import and can be torn down into/onto domestic trunk routes from Lousiville to regional distribution and local sort) at a massive, low per-cubic-foot/low labor cost facility in a foreign trade zone in CN or even KR than anywhere state-side, because very few local facilities have any spare space and you'd be surprised, Louisville is a massive complex but nearly every square foot is used and allocated, there just isn't space to hold these, sometimes at any cost per cu/ft (esp if they haven't cleared customs yet and they need to reside in an actual FTZ state-side, which is even more scarce space).

From what I've read here the address has to match exactly (shipping label & your MyChoice address)
mine is doing this too. i think the system is getting confused because the time is in order but it isn’t in order based on most recent activity 😂😂
What a beautiful morning... we're at 83º this morning, headed for a high of 94º ... sunny and clear as of now. There is something amazing about the desert in the fall and winter. (Not so much in the summer, though).

I am having my phone shipped to my office so no the address on my MyChoice account. So when I enter my phone number for the reference number, I only get a partial tracking number and a note stating UPS no longer provides details on shipments searched with reference numbers. So mine is "On the way".
Right? I got a brand new phone for a tiny screen edge chip
I can't wait to finally get my full tracking number to see who I travelled with.

I noticed that. Tracking is all over the place now. But I will take that over delayed scans. When people took off from ANC to KY. The departure scans did not hit for a long time. Not usual. Expect an arrival scan soon in Louisville, Kentucky. 2 hours left.
Ordered the iPhone 14 Pro Max Gold. Showing a ship date of October 10th - 17th. Just out of curiosity, I know in some cases in the past launches that the dates have improved beyond what you might’ve originally have been told. Do you think that’ll be the same this year? Or am I stuck waiting until October?

I'm in the exact same boat with the September 23 Postal Service info but it's about to land in Louisville. I can't imagine UPS will do anything strange with our phones that have the 9/23 info in Apple (UPS has a delivery date of 9/16).
Passes the time, something fun to do, get to meet a whole bunch of fun and interesting people that I would never have met, otherwise.
