Then I climbed on the bandwagon with the 3GS and have been hooked ever since. As we know Anchorage crowd on UPS 91 on way to Louisville. Scans a bit late it is interesting to see the UPS app vs the Aftership app which does not seem to differentiate China and US time zones so all the Anchorage data is earlier on the 13th so appears in middle of the China Scans just before departure (bottom photo)

Yep, Aftership needs some work. I have used Deliveries for years now, and yes they've gone to subscription model, but at least it's smart enough to sort these things into time order.

Late to the thread but ordered last Friday at 8:02am ET. Ordered 14PM 1T SB and 2 Series 8 45mm SS (one Graphite, One Gold). Also ordered a 14 256 DP for my mother but through Verizon. PM will be in store pickup this Friday while the watches currently sit at a delivery range of 10/3-10/10. Really hoping a miracle might happen where the watches come sooner as I’ll be out of town 10/4-10/9…

Funny thing is last year my 13PM came while I was in NYC so had my mother stop by to get it from the house and overnight it to me via Fedex to the hotel I was in.

By having UPS My Choice Premium. For me though, I have a business account and use UPS Daily to ship and receive. My phone is coming to my office and I can see all inbound shipments with full tracking. This includes my phone.

You don’t need premium. You can do it with a free account. The issue is making sure the delivery address matches perfectly to the shipping address.

Good morning! I’m now airborne to Kentucky. Three hours remaining for me to hold delivery. Have folks done it today yet? What info do they ask for when you call in? I’ve never done it before.

Also sad to see our 2B friends have yet to depart. Hoping y’all’s plane arrives soon!

My first was a Motorola brick flip phone... the 650 or something similar... eventually I moved to BB devices... and have had most of the iPhone models, starting with the OG... for most the most part, I upgraded every year, handing the devices down to my wife, and the 6 kids... after the last one moved out, I stopped upgrading every year, and let them buy their own devices.

Apart from the iPhone, my favorite device of all time was the Motorola StarTac - small, black flip phone with a plastic antenna that you had to extend out of the device to make a call... it was all talk and text, as data wasn't a thing yet.

Exactly. I am not even in wave 1 or 2 and probably will not be in 3 or 4 but there is a togetherness here that is sorely missing elsewhere. I learned about this whole thing in November when I was waiting on my MacBook and appreciated the kindness, fun and dedication. If this was a 24 / 7 / 365 thing I would agree but this is like a really quick Pumpkin Spice Season for Apple tech lovers. Glad I found it. Also still struggling post COVID so its nice to be able to relax the body but work the brain with trying to find flights, etc.

One of mine (PM Silver) is still sitting in China. The other (iPhone 14, Blue) shows nothing when tracking reference number. Both show delivery on the 16th by Apple, so hopefully that’s still accurate

To be clear: my derision is more directed at the folks who act like the sky is falling because Tracking Website A says one thing, Apple says another, and UPS says yet a third thing. It WILL arrive, y'all! I do think it's fun to watch you guys track every year... but I can't help but giggle at those who seem genuinely stressed or concerned about it.

In any case, UPS is showing my 14PM has left South Korea this morning! Apple is still "preparing to ship."

No movement on my OtterBox Lumen. But my cheap temporary case from Amazon arrives today!

So this is the second apple rep that re assured me that my military 10% discount with carrier financing will be valid with ATT through apple.com, I have used it before for full priced items but carrier financing through apple is a first and I’m skeptical but ready, but my military taxes for my Friday in store pickup went through 🤷

Living vicariously through you guys and my wife. My wife's phone is coming on release day, but mine is slated for Sep 27-30. It's a black, 256 pro max. Ordered about 10-15 minutes after opening time because the apple store wouldn't work.

I've seen some people who are slated for a sep 23 delivery show up in UPS with a delivery on release day and I'm REALLY REALLY hoping they get to us Sep 27 people!!!

You have to have Ups My Choice - premium. It’s like $20 a year

You don't need to have the premium. The free version will get you the tracking information as well.

You could visit the UPS CC of where you are having it held and ask them what they need? Maybe you could explain it to that person. I'm sure you'll get more better response from them.

But from my experience in the past my address on ID had to match the address on the package. You could also take a utility bill if that's your new address?

I called them and they said the address needs to match :/ I also can't go back in and cancel the delivery change request now. My sister's ID has the matching address as the package address so I think she may be able to go pick it up on my behalf if I give her the tracking info. I'll prob just go with her and show my ID so they can see my name matches and her address on her id matches the package address.

Quick question: my current iPhone is the 13 PM and has eSIM. Is there a way to check to see if my eSIM is already activated? I see in my settings that I have no carrier restrictions.

As long as you are able to make phone calls thats one way to find out. Just make sure sim tray is empty.
