i did read all of post 1 and was able to track by reference, but UPS seems to have helpfully removed most of the relevant info when returning a reference search result. so all i can see is the last 4 digits of the tracking number and the fact that the phones are supposed to be delivered by 7pm friday.

given that, how are people figuring out the flight numbers?

Welcome to #4digitgang. There are a bunch of us unlucky enough to be members. The last time this happened (at least to me), I was able to see the full number on Thursday (most likely when Apple emailed me the shipping notification; I honestly don’t remember). So it completely sucks, but we’ll still absolutely get our stuff on time. :)

That's a great idea but not everyone is confused about it. It's just a small margin. It's ok to have questions. I don't believe they are crapping or asking dumb questions. We are here to help them. It's a team effort. Anyone is welcome to make a post here with all due respect. It's honestly not bothering me.

We are a tad bit crazy here in America, we like to do things BIG!!

...also, I think the Queen's passing might have something to do with the UK thread being quiet as well, I believe...the country is in mourning. The UK thread might be reflective of that as well...

you might not but clearly some people do given their reactions to my questions with a whole lot of “it’s going to be a long day” etc.

i have been on 2-3 launch day iphone sales and this is the first time i never got tracking info from apple. hence why i sought out this thread. but i can see that it is all fine now. thanks for your patience.

This is why I don't feel the need to upgrade every year. I'm going from a 12 to the 14pro--my first pro, so I'm pretty excited for the changes.
 
***UPDATE ON HOLDING AT HUB***
Just popped into my local hub. Talked to a super nice guy who said if they are here Thursday night you can have them held but they do charge a fee per package now. Said it’s a new thing they do to cut down on the amount of packages held. He also said if they arrive here Friday morning and I have them held I’m not getting them u til Monday! Argh. I have to be out of town my noon. Guess I have to wait and see when they actually arrive at my local hub!

Yes know that iOS has it own Weather app but it is not as advanced as I like.

So difficult finding the perfect weather app that has a lifetime fee and good.

For my new iPhone 14 Pro Max of course.

As a storm spotter and weather nerd (retired geologist and paleontologist) I like Radarscope (two paid levels) tons of radar features including velocity and such the most common storm chaser used iOS app and weathermate (free with tons of info using local stations in my town with tons of data (depoint, humidity, winds and much more)

Most of it is just fun banter.

It does get tedious when the same thing is answered 3 times on one page, and then it is asked again right below a previous answer.
