Finally got my import scan and email from Apple. However, I have a bit of a dilemma. I live in an apartment complex where all packages from UPS, FEDEX, etc are all delivered to a locked 'package/parcel room'. UPS MyChoice has not indicated to me that my signature is required.....yet I did get the note from apple about pre-signing for my package. I'm not exactly sure what to do since I have not had a delivery of this value to my apartment up until now. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Who's in charge of that parcel room? I'd talk to them. Chances are, that person would just sign for it.

I have a delivery scheduled tomorrow (yay) but unfortunately have to be in and out of the house. Is there a way to track the delivery truck in real time? I've used UPS before to do it, but it says the function has been disabled on the UPS website.

It is interesting to me that we got the Apple email before our scans populated.

UPS still says I departed Alaska but Apple says my phone will be here tomorrow. Looking forward to getting it. My ups guy usually comes between noon to 3.

I just found something interesting my Apple Watch is in KY- with my iPhone -- the tracking for my watch mention ships from Clayton, Indiana,

and I just got a origin scan for my watch and it says KY, no Indiana

I’m also in Maryland. My last scan was in Anchorage, AK at 7:15 ?EDT, I presume, since when I read that it was 5:40am in Anchorage. I am assuming it will go from there to Louisville, then BWI. Based on prior shipments from Apple, here’s my prediction: it will leave on UPS 67 from Anchorage at 9:35am AKDT, arriving in Louisville at 5:30pm. Then it’ll catch a connection to BWI on UPS 1214, which departs at 4am Friday, arriving in Baltimore at 5:30am. My local UPS center is in Laurel. The delivery truck typically arrives between 2:30-3:30 so I’ll be listening closely for that familiar sound around that time.

I’m a 7:15 out of ANC also, just got import scan at 10:40am

You could presign with Apple anyways if you’re comfortable with taking on that liability if it gets lost? Or you could spend $5.99 to hold at UPS CC if it’s not too late? Just be careful to pick the Customer Center (CC), not an access point that might delay your delivery a day or the weekend.

There are three flights to Newark departing at 3:51pm ET, 4:06pm ET, 5:15pm ET. From other Macrumors members it seems like NYC people get their iPhones shipped through EWR. 🤞🏼

In about 5 hours. But I only got One Import Scan. Still waiting for the next one to hit. Hope both of my iPhones can make this flight. Otherwise, it will be a red-eye flight. I think!

Yeah. I think UPS Scans are definitely behind. They just couldn't keep up with the demand. Apple is always ahead of the game!

When is your flight?!

I'm in Brooklyn as well and live not too far away from the Brooklyn Customer Center. It could be possible that our iPhones get shipped to JFK and not EWR (UPS 2114) departs at 3:15 PM. JFK is closer to the Brooklyn Customer Center (which holds all the packages).

The only way EWR would work for us is to get shipped to Newark, NJ and then a UPS driver would have to drive from EWR to Brooklyn, NY which seems very inefficient as there's a direct flight from Louisville, KY to JFK airport.

Two iPhones ordered within 2 minutes of each other. One sat in KY for 2 days before they got their import scan (this morning) and will be arriving tomorrow around 6 pm.

The other is still over in the factory with an estimated delivery date of the 28th-3rd. Hopefully the 2nd phone (mine) gets shipped sooner.

Finally got import scan, as well as shipped email from Apple. UPS still isn't showing my request to hold at the CC (the app does show Pick up my package at a UPS location under "Change Requested" -- usually it says the change has been processed, etc. but I'm guessing they're super duper lagged in status updates. Hopefully it kicks in since my UPS driver doesn't come until after 7:00 PM.

It’s all automated….the tracking numbers existed days ago as we all know.

Apple just releases the “shipped” info today knowing that unless they have heard otherwise, the phone will be delivered tomorrow.

They are really just sharing the tracking info…nothing more.
