It’s all automated….the tracking numbers existed days ago as we all know.

Apple just releases the “shipped” info today knowing that unless they have heard otherwise, the phone will be delivered tomorrow.

They are really just sharing the tracking info…nothing more.
It seems like we all got the shipped email at the same time this year, unlike past years when times were varied and correlated with the import/customs scan

I now have both my UPS import scan and I got the email from Apple so all I have to do is wait until this evening or early tomorrow, for it to start moving from Louisville to Indianapolis, to Urbana, IL, to Decatur, IL, then back to Urbana where I can pick it up. Hopefully.

Last year they lost it in Urbana, and it almost went to California. It hadn’t been taken off the truck that brought it from Decatur back to Urbana, and that truck was due to go to California. If I hadn’t been politely insistent that it was there, they wouldn’t have taken a second look.

Part of iUP, when do I hear anything about my trade-in kit? Usually I would've gotten it by now or at least received confirmation that it was shipping

Well, it does have to go through the customs and all that. It's a process. It's still fascinating tho.

Good point. I don't think anyone has anything yet. It will probably just show up by FedEx (guessing) today or tomorrow.

Looks like Apple was not honest with our order status, shipping and tracking number as mine was just prepar8ng to ship today and went to shipped and it was already in Kentucky! The likely did this to keep people from hammering the UPS tracking system but they need to be more honest about what they are doing.

I'm in Brooklyn as well and live not too far away from the Brooklyn Customer Center. It could be possible that our iPhones get shipped to JFK and not EWR (UPS 2114) departs at 3:15 PM. JFK is closer to the Brooklyn Customer Center (which holds all the packages).

The only way EWR would work for us is to get shipped to Newark, NJ and then a UPS driver would have to drive from EWR to Brooklyn, NY which seems very inefficient as there's a direct flight from Louisville, KY to JFK airport.
I guess time will tell! I think last year my iPhone did go through Newark. I am down for the JFK flight as it leaves earlier! 😬

But instead they made us hammer UPS even more!

Import scans for both my Apple Watch Series 8 and iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Silver! Can't wait for tomorrow!
