The guy's an idiot. There's a reason MR takes his tweets and predictions with skepticism...

He was always annoying, but initially accurate for a few predictions until Apple tripped him up. He reminds of that other guy who built his platform on bashing other reviewers and any product he came across. So long as there is a response whatever it may be, is the criteria.

SoCal is a mystery. I've had phones fly into BUR/LAX/ONT. It just depends on how much has to be moved.

Funny, a few minutes ago I heard what I imagined was a UPS truck pull up. I started towards the door and heard a knock and saw the UPS brown dressed driver at the door. I joked with him, "Hey, my iPhone is a day early". He was apparently not impressed with my humor and just handed me the device to sign for my Lanyard for my new AirPods Pro 2 case that won't be here for another week.

That momentary thrill of thinking the iPhone has finally arrived! And strange as I will be picking mine up at the CC tomorrow morning rather than waiting to hear that track rattle down my street again before I hold the box.

Yeah, most of the drivers lose their sense of humor around iPhone delivery day.

They are pretty good at this stuff! The vast majority of people who saw 9/16 Delivery when the clicked "buy" will get their iPhones on Friday.

Just because it's not yet noted in the iPhone's itinerary doesn't mean that it won't happen. I think it's noted in an early morning email from UPS reminding you that you requested that they hold it for you. They are kind that way.

oh I’m not nervous like it won’t happen nervous.. probably poor choice of words. I’m cool and very confident, I’ve done this for many years.. it’s just the anticipation and knowing how “**** happens” as they say! My hub closes down hard, hours before trucks come back and if it’s on a truck due by 7pm and it gets missed, there’s no way to get it until Monday. I had a pack out for delivery once that was one of two. I met the driver in the driveway, got one and said where’s the other? He claimed there was only one. I showed him my ofd notice and he looks all around the truck, says nope. I said it has to be there. Finally he spots it on the floor under his seat.
So yeah, I just want to see that held for pickup locked in

Well now to see how my phone travels to me departed Louisville at 2:55 edt (1:55 my time in east central Illinois). Usually comes through Indianapolis from Louisville then through Danville to my east passing about half mile north of me on interstate and going to hub a Decatur where it comes back tomorrow morning.

I keep trying to sign up for MyChoice but it seems telling me I'm already enrolled when I'm not

I had that happen to me. Have you ever logged in using the "log in with apple id" thing? Turned out that's what was causing the issue for me. I'd set that up, forgot about it, then tried to create a new account months later and could never get in. When I eventually got to speak to someone who knew what they were doing he figured it out.
