I got 50gb used on my 13Pro max. So I definitely could have gotten away with 256 on the 14 pro max. I was paranoid and got the 512 just in case I decided to keep the phone longer than 1 year. Now that I have the purple 14pm, I’m disappointed with the color so I don’t think I’ll keep it past a year now. Long story short, I should have gotten the 256gb.

How much room do you have to spare ?

I keep pushing the button to turn it off.. need to break that habit! lol. I don’t know how you did it, I crashed and just slept for hours after no sleep last night waiting for my phone to hit town!

I’m probably going to turn it off. AOD has never been important. The iPhone survived just fine without it after like 6 years of android having it.

I just feel like why bother worrying about or taking the effort to turn it off when it’s pretty much wasted energy. I don’t need or really care about the aod, but it’s kind of nice. I sure as heck could care less what android does. I’m having fun discovering little things accidentally.. like what is that streak that bolts down to the text box when dictating a messenger message.. I’ll learn to ignore it but right now it’s a bit annoying and serves no purpose? Have you seen it?

We should trade. lol I thought I’d be ok with 256 but worry a tiny bit. I don’t do music or videos so I should be ok. I’ve only used 55 of 256 so far

I checked the storage on my 12 Pro before I preordered and I had about 175 of 256 GB available. So I figured 256 GB was plenty for me for the 14 Pro.

You need to start filling up that iPhone with 48MP ProRAW photos and 4K ProRes Video! But I don’t think too much about the color or storage either since I upgrade each year.

Definitely — I’ve got lots of playlists that I download to from AM. Safe to say that you will probably never have storage anxiety 😉

I use up a lot of space with Photos/Videos, Music, Podcasts, GarageBand, Keynote, PDF Expert. Do you use FiLMiC Pro?

Yes. And it’s accurate. At night it will be dark. Close to sunrise/sunset you can see where the earth is lit up and where it’s still dark. Also you’ll see it rotate into a lower position as it changes into your wallpaper when you unlock. It’s probably the coolest dynamic wallpaper yet. The watch has a similar one too.

I’m still obsessed with this Deep Purple. What an amazing color. Whoever came up with it at Apple needs a huge promotion and raise, lol.

Update! Originally I was 9/28-10/3. Moved to PFS earlier today and I just now got a shipped with a tracking #! Tracking details aren’t available and Apple still says the original dates. I’ll know soon enough. Anyone else see movement too? I’m curious if it’s coming from overseas or they are stateside already.

I am 10/10-10/17 and still nothing after seeing yours move up hoping mine will also but not holding my breath

I have 110GB left, which makes me a little nervous, though it shouldn’t. I have like 15 years of photos on here, my entire music library downloaded, and quite a few apps I really don’t need to keep. I also don’t really need to keep all my photos on here if I run out of space. Considering also how fast the past year has gone for me, 256GB should definitely hold me over for the next year, but likely will be fine for another few years as well. Knock on wood.

Got everything set up late last night. the eSIM transfer for Visible was a disaster. waited in a chat line the first go around for about 45m before it just kicked me out of queue. Got back in queue and it took 2 hours this go around just for the chat to stop responding. I ended up saying forget it and ported to US Mobile (prepaid carrier). They completed the port and the eSIM download in under 5 minutes.

Thanks to iCloud+ I have about 140GB left on my 256 after moving all my photos over. I could free up even more space if I looked into message attachments and old apps.

256GB has always been enough for me! YMMV.
