Are you going to order the new iPhone 14?

AFAIK, I would say and going to say at least 95% of the iphone pre-orders that are being delivered to U.S comes from China. Unless you ordered it through the carrier and not from apple.com then it would come from their warehouse in the U.S.

I do notice that for Canadians, their phones gets shipped from Mt. Juliet, TN.
Here's an example of a device ordered thru Apple via iUP that shipped from TN: Link

Search for Mount Juliet, TN and look for pre-order threads. Here's an example from the first few results: #75
Thank you for finding this and sharing. That’s interesting but this is a Canadian pre-order thread not USA. It’s a possibility, the iPhone routed from China to USA and landed in US soil. Thus, making its way to Canada. Logistically it’s much cheaper. Seems like this is a rare instance.

Folks! Keep in mind the Taxing time is 30 minutes. (This means Aircraft is going around the runaways, movement of an aircraft on the ground under its power, waiting for other planes to take off, and so on.

So we also won't see a "Departure Scan" right away. The average wait time is 30-45 minutes after it is up in the air. This is when you will see a "Departure Scan".

Is that what a plan do when they can’t land yet because the plan at their gate hasn’t taken off? When we were coming back from Puerto Rico last summer, our plane kept circling the airport about 3 or 4 times before landing. It was pretty cool to see.

Couple of things to note: There are 3 (I think now 4 if you include the one in Indianapolis, IN) warehouses in the US that stores iphones (MT, Juliet, TN (Geodis), there is one in PA (can't remember what the name is), there is also one in California (again might be Geodis or something else). That thread you link, that poster indicated that he/she tried to order for launch day but due to connections, that poster got it delivered late. So not a launch day.

Once supply and demand catches up, any phones will then be stored in the warehouses and eventually if you order it it will be shipped from one of those locations. I bet you if you had ordered one in January of 2023, that it will come from a warehouse and not from China.

Also, it’s going from Tennessee to Toronto, Canada. This was logistically done due to the cheaper traveling cost.

Well said! Great points. Thank you 🙏🏻

So, my Spigen iPhone 14 Pro case arrived today…

I have an iPhone X and thought that both the iPhone X and iPhone 14 Pro are the same size. So, I tried to put my iPhone X into this Spigen case and to my surprise, it didn’t fit perfectly.

Anyone else have a similiar experience?

Your iPhone 14 Pro Max has come from here. Do you see Zhenxing Road? It's a newer assembly plant. I would make an international call and call them for you. But I don't know how to speak Chinese.

That’s crazy of all of those factories right there.

How do I get more storage back ?

Plus for my mom running the 12 pro 128 GB with 6GB left because of WhatsApp should 256 Gb fit ?

I barely film on my phone since I got a vlog camera

How long do you plan on keeping the phone?

Does anyone know if I bring my new iPhone 14 Pro Max Friday with me to the doctor's office if it will be possible to go from my in use iPhone 11 to the new iPhone 14 Pro Max over just normal 4g lte and 5g ?

Do not plan on transfering all my data over just a fresh start on the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

If no one knows it is ok.

Not sure if I will have time to do it before leaving :(

I don’t really care about tracking info until Monday or Tuesday. It’s not like if I get it now, I will get my watch or phone before the 16th. Trust the system Tim Apple built it hasn’t let us down yet.

Everything I’ve been told, you need Wi-Fi

In that case they will usually hold you on an apron or the tarmac somewhere. If you were circling it could have been a change in the pattern, the runway was busy, priority aircraft inbound/outbound-probably lots of reasons that @pilotpat or one of our other pilots can clarify.
