Looks like my 2023 24 inch iMac was made in Thailand according to the box, but it was shipped from China , Since I actually ordered a 2021 24 inch iMac with a M1 chip October 5, 2023, then it was exposed to be delivered October 26 to November 2, then I saw that the delivery date was pushed back to November 10 to November 14, then I was getting a feeling is Apple going to announce a update to the 24 inch iMac and my feeling was right a keynote on October 30, 2023, Then at 12am on October 31, 2023, I get a email from Apple saying this
"Thank you for your recent Mac order. We know you're looking forward to receiving your purchase.
As you may know, Apple recently announced the new iMac.
Since your order has yet to ship, we automatically upgraded you to the new iMac at no additional cost.

Then I was also thinking that November 10 to November 14 dates seems like it could fall into the new release day for the M3 iMac
then later I checked the arrival date and it said November 7, then I checked on apple.com to see when the new iMacs would be available and it said november 7, My dad was like are you sure its the M3 version and I said yeap
it is
So far I have no regrets on ordering it - it's been really good so far and seems a lot faster than the 21.5 in intel iMac I previously had.
I was surprised after the keynote when apple said you can order the M3 iMac today and will be available next week. I thought they were going to do pre-orders. Then if they did pre-orders and they say you could pre-order a certain day and the computer would not be available intil next month- and plus by then you don't know how long the shipping would be pushed out.
So I got the new iMac on November 7, 2023
