Mine arrived today, earlier than scheduled.

I’ve only opened the outer box to notice that it must have been dropped along its journey. as one of the inner corners is punted-in.

Sad Mac

I can't figure out when my iMac will be delivered. First, it said on Friday November 17. On Wednesday November 15 I got a text link to tracking which showed it was out for delivery. It never did arrive. On Thursday it still shows out for delivery.

iMac M3
1TB SSD
Keyboard with numeric keypad
Order date: November 7

Could someone who has acquired a silver iMac M3 kindly share a photo of the accompanying keyboard and mouse?

My goal is to determine whether the Magic Keyboard and Mouse in the M3 Silver version match the color of the standard ones sold separately by Apple.

In the UK, refurbished Silver iMac M3 units come with a UK (English) keyboard.

However, I'm interested in finding out if my current Norwegian Magic Keyboard without Touch ID shares a similar silver color (see attached picture).

I don't have the silver machine (mine is Green), but what I did notice was that there is a slight color change between the 'same' color (apart from any other country to country issues). I think this may be the recycling of the aluminum associated with the color infusion?

I don't know if this helps but check out the post by Chris80 on the M1 order thread: #2,368

I have an iMac M3 Silver, the keyboard is actually silver in structure, but the buttons are still white. Depends on the light, silver may appear more or less light/different reflections. Is the pairing correct?

The history of the Magic Mouse is not clear to me, I see the upper part as really white, should it have been silver? Below, however, he has the two white rubber stripes, how does it look to you?

I also looked at @Chris80's photo, in my case it all looks like old keyboard and old mouse.

Yes, correct, buttons are white. Magic Mouse upper is white and bottom matched to computer color including the runner strips. Of course my old eyes aren't great so old vs new is always off to me!

Very good. But then is it just an impression of Chris80's photo where he instead says that the "old" mouse, keyboard and trackpad models are whiter than the new ones?

I'd have to have my old mouse and keyboard to compare but I put them somewhere. Sorry. Plus, I'd need my cataract surgery.

Here is a photo of the silver keyboard, mouse and trackpad.
The keys and surfaces of the iMac 24 accessories are more "greyish".

The keyboard which you can buy in the Apple Store has real white keys.
And also the touch-surface of the magic mouse is real white.

No, that's not an impression. The keys on the new keyboard are really slightly gray. The surface of the mouse and trackpad are also slightly gray.
It's only really noticeable when you hold both generations of devices next to each other.

@Chris80 Really appreciate the pictures and your first hand eye witness experience. That clears up for me. Thanks 👍

I just checked ... I have the 2023 green iMac, the 2021 green iMac, and a silver Mac mini mice from left to right. The green iMac mice match pretty closely, the silver Mac mini mouse doesn't quite match the two green iMac mice.
