It was a great finish to the game, but I'm not sure if it was a great game. There was a lot of illegal procedure calls, something I hope doesn't become an endemic this season, and Baltimore had some questionable decisions. How they used the clock to end the game left something to be desired. If only that Toe was smaller.

Or he wore white shoes. 😂

I was the starter at a large regional championship swim meet. We were running 12 lanes and seeing false starts was hard enough. But on one race, I saw one and the Ref confirmed it. Coach was irate saying we can't watch all 12 lanes.

The Ref then simply told the coach it might be better if he didn't put his swimmers in bright yellow caps.

I don't think it was a great team. Too many mistakes on both sides. KC dropping the ball again (not Mahomes' fault), just like last season. Jackson was painful to watch. Great running though, more yards than Henry (46 vs 122 IIRC). I wonder why they signed Henry if they're not using him. Will be interesting to see his performance in the next few games and if he can get back to his old avg.

And of course the refs... not calling Ravens for pulling face masks and open season attacking Mahomes outside the field. They also called the last touchdown, which luckily is always booth reviewed. Otherwise it would have been overtime. Close one in the end. But much room for improvements.

Ravens are playing the Raiders next, which should be an easy win for them. Chiefs vs Bengals, which could be close.

Welp, we had every intention of attending the game tonight, but through a bunch of circumstances beyond the scope of this thread, I'm instead stuck in a Brazilian cougar den.

At least they're showing the game on TV. 😂

THE RAIDERS really needed that TD... lol

I love Jim Harbaugh, I know, I know, but I hope the chargers are awful... I'm sure they won't be.

Love sounds like he escaped a major injury. He might play again this year. That field was not great last night. If the NFL is serious about having a lot more international games, they need to play on better fields.

I have been avoiding watching the replay of the injury...

With Jordan Love ruled out for next week, maybe longer, I wonder if the Packers will look for a veteran free agent to come in and hold down the fort?

And yes, the field conditions were a problem, but I don't think that was a factor in Love's injury, and haven't heard that about anyone else either.

I know it's too early to say, but from how he played during the pre-season and his first game, the #1 pick ain't living up to the hype. He needs to learn to trust his O-line. His running out of the box at the first opportunity makes it impossible for them to know where to protect. And his accuracy is awful. Too many throws on the run because he doesn't trust his linesmen.

Last year, the Texans O-line was much maligned and injured during the first half of the season. By season's end, they were among the best O-line in the league. That's because the knew where their QB would be and knew where they had to defend. It takes time for the O-line to gel. They can't work together if they don't know which piece of turf to defend.

Fun day of Football yesterday. I feel bad for Panther fans. They don't deserve that crap of a team. I was thinking they might surprise and get an upset but that optimism was misplaced. Bryce Young is not a NFL QB.

I have no idea how the Bears or Bills pulled out those games. Arizona and Titans chokes in the second half.

The Sunday night game was fun. Lions are a fun team to watch again but hopefully Puka isn't out for a long period of time.

He really is a horrible human, being so I hope he won't. Not sorry,.

What exactly makes him so horrible? Does he beat women? Beat kids? drive drunk and kill people or whatever other things "horrible" NFL players do? Or are you just a really sensitive...weak minded person who can't deal with someone who has different beliefs than you?

Unfortunately some folks can't be part of a normal conversation without virtue signaling, he did it in the "what are you listening to" thread as well... several hundred pages of members simply sharing music until someone posted something by an artist this one doesn't agree with. It's truly sad.
