If you read the document, Lance actually admits "He was angry, and wanted to show that." Go figure.........

He should have just played dumb my take made perfect sense for him.
I don’t really understand how either of them got away with it then.

Really hope that the race is a close as qualifying. We all now qualifying pace does not equal race pace. If there really is a 4 team race, the rest of the season should be exciting and not a bore fest like last year and the start of this year.

Then Silverstone can't blame Red Bull / Max for not selling their F1 tickets. Not that ridiculously priced standing tickets has anything to do with it ;)

But yes, it is getting closer and closer. Max needs his team mater to step up, but that is just not going to happen.

Has silverstone actually blamed them for that? Or has the media said that?

A good qualifying, so good to seem McLaren giving Lando a decent car after all these years and Lewis up there too. I think the Red Bull will be ahead at turn 1 though with elbows out. Its not a circuit that generally gives us a great race but one the drivers know well and possibly do the most laps on so fingers crossed we get something worth watching.

Stroll to announce his retirement and admit it was his Dads dream at Silverstone??

Yeah right 🤣 Who else was dominating then? 🤣
Yes but that’s not blame it’s a reason the two things are very different.
He’s saying when Lewis was dominating it was easier to sell. People no matter where on earth you are love a bandwagon.

Yeah ofcourse, nothing to do with the crazy ticket prices, bad traffic arrangements, active blocking of taxi services in the area and so on 🤣 It’s total mismanagement and great example of how not to do it.

The larger issue for Max currently is he has to drive 110% every lap to get his results. He can’t keep this up and be mistake free. They need to find more speed in the car versus Sergio being productive.

Let’s see where we are in a few more races.

Indeed, some of the other teams seem to have finally figured it out. Very exciting stuff, and Red Bull really needs both drivers to be on their game. Max is great, but he can't do this on his own.

Max wins again, but again it is very close. If Lando had not stuffed his start and McLaren stuffed his final pit stop, I think Lando could have won. He did take Fastest Lap. Lewis rounds out the podium for third.

I think Max will still win the WDC, but I also think he is not going to run away with it. If nothing else, he seems to relish being actually challenged this year for race wins. McLaren is definitely on a par with Red Bull in terms of chassis and Mercedes seems to be improving. Both Mercedes had the measure of both Ferraris all race so the Scuderia needs to re-examine their strategies and start pushing upgrades quicker if they don't want to drop to fourth.

Great race. McLaren definitely could have won the race if it were not for the start/first stint with RUS holding everyone up. Red Bull seems to have peaked in terms of development and McLaren seem to be right there, if not faster but both are clearly heads/shoulders above the rest. Constructors should be an interesting fight towards the end.

Mercedes will continue to bring upgrades up to Silverstone so lets see if their development continues to work unlike Ferrari where the upgrades seem to have no effect or even worked against them.
