Wait until people find out they removed 3D Touch widgets, that is something I use constantly all day and it’s gone. So If you want to see them without going into the widget panel (which Apple squeezed everything to match the width of their stock widgets and now look awkward and pinched). Or once devs make home screen widgets the only option will be to clutter the home screen up with Apples giant widgets. It’s a big step backward as far as I’m concerned.

I'm hoping Google Calendar will be better. It currently only shows the upcoming 6 days, even if they are empty, I'm guessing because of limitations by Apple. I hope they can implement it to show only the next scheduled events.

Downloading now. My first 3rd party widget.

Pillow sleep tracker got a third party widget today, according to the app update. Haven't tried it yet.

Yeah, I was commenting on that regarding Google Maps on the forum today. That's definitely a step backwards.

Happy iOS 14 Day to all!

Let's get a gallery rolling for all the new 3rd party widgets so we have an easier reference guide than trying to navigate the terribly organized App Store. From what I've seen so far, Weather Line is the only app that's dropped an update including a widget. I've set this up as a Wiki so we can have this post as a growing list.

Apps updated with widget functionality:

I am looking forward to third party widgets. At the moment, I am using Widget Wizard in TestFlight and I like it. Maybe 1Password, Fantastical, Canary Mail, Deliveries and several others will release a widgets soon.

I support this thread. Is there anyway to figure out which apps have been updated for iOS 14 and have widgets aside from reading the description?

None that I'm aware of so far. I was hoping people would drop in and add to this list as apps are updated on their devices. I've had a ton of updates but haven't seen widget support on any of my apps so far.

I think Apple will put a "Optimized for iOS 14" type feature page in the App Store once iOS 14 is officially released.

Saw this on twitter. My App Store doesn't reflect this change yet but I'm sure it's rolling out.
