I tried force restart my iPhone quite a few times. Always able to re-jailbreak after reboot on both the 5s and 6+ (may need to try mode than once, but never stuck so far).

And there is no sign of instability before re-jailbreak, I can use it as a normal iPhone. For people like me have business trip few times a month with only the iDevice but no computer. It seems an acceptable solution (not as good as perfect untether jailbreak), but no apparent problem at this moment. The worst is just use it like a normal iPhone.

My absolute only issue with 9.0.2 is respringing at night on its own... But it doesn't really bother me at all, I only realize because I have to type my password for Touch ID to work again

Yeah. I've read somewhere that it has to do with the DND mode. Don't quote me though.

My 5s was on 9.0.2 jailbreak, it saw it respring at night many times (may be restart, I didn't really find out the truth). Never use DND on that phone.

And I upgrade to 9.3.3 jailbreak, no problem at all. I don't know if it still respring at night, but at least the jailbreak stay there on the next morning. Both my 5s and 6+ works OK so far.

5s is almost perfect, the only bug so far is I may need to try more than once when re-jailbreak (I intentionally make a force reboot for testing purpose. The 5s actually works perfect after initial jailbreak).

6+ a bit more trouble, the hotspot hanged once, but that occasionally happen without jailbreak as well. So not sure if jailbreak decrease the stability, or purely coincident. Also I cannot change the Airdrop status when the hotspot hang (may be I try to enable Airdrop during hotspot on cause the problem). But all cleared after a single restart, everything back to normal since then. Besides, same as 5s, after reboot, may need to try more then once to re-enable jailbreak.

What's the official link to the Safari jb, I have the stomach flu and get the feeling Google is going to be full of fakes with everyone rushing to jb.

I used the link from iclarified in http://www.iclarified.com/56132/how-to-jailbreak-your-iphone-on-ios-92-933-without-a-computer
[doublepost=1469517916][/doublepost]Quick question to those that have JB and then turned their iPhone Off and On.

When you re launch the JB app again and lock your screen for the JB to take hold again are you required to turn off your iPhones Passcode prior to this as is required when first jailbreaking ?

I'm hoping not as setting up Apple Pay again is a pain.

No, you can jailbreak with passcode on, even with the initial jailbreak.

My 6 is currently on 8.4. So the correct order of steps I'd need to do to be at 9.3.3 jailbroken?

1) backup in iTunes
2) update and set up as new 9.3.3
3) restore from backup
4) jailbreak

Or should 3 and 4 be switched?

sure.

the chinese app that does jailbreak magic will not run anymore after 7 days, so if you reboot your phone you will need to re-sign and reinstall it to get to the jailbreak state again.

nothing will be lost, configs, tweaks, hacks will be there.

Sorry again to sound dim but how do I resign?

Will I basically have to re-jailbreak my phone once a week to get things signed?

You should either choose 2 or 3, not both.

Or I should say, once you recovery from backup, the "setup as new" is meaningless.

No, my understanding is that you only need to run that jailbreak apps once (after every reboot). So, let's say if you never reboot, your jailbreak will virtually last forever, no re-jailbreak require after a week.

When require, you can use this apps to re-sign.

I have to do #2 right? I need to update to 9.3.3 at some point. I want to have all my current texts, photos, call data, etc on my phone after I'm on 9.3.3.

If you do the update via iTunes, there is no requirement to choose "setup as new iPhone", all data should stay.

However, if your update fail, and you are forced to restore the firmware, that will clear everything. But after firmware updated, you should choose recover from backup (from step 1), and not setup as new iPhone (if you plan to restore your data anyway).

I fear this is all beyond me.

I like to restart my phone once every few weeks.

I'll give it a few days and see what happens but I'm leaning towards staying as is since Saurik has said he doesn't think there will be an unteather for this JB.

Then you just have to wait for another 6 days, you will know the answer. As long as you are in 9.3.3, your iPhone is jailbreak-able. :D

I'll be watching and waiting to see what posts pop up here after the 7 days and on sites such as idownloadblog and iPhoneHacks.

I'm currently jailbroken on 9.0.2 so will just hang fire for a few days and see what happens.

I turn off my iPhone every night before going to bed and "re-jailbreak" every morning after turning on my iPhone, literally takes 20 seconds to respring. No issues what so ever. It's been about 2 days.

For people worried about the 7 day deal just manually set your date ahead a couple of months and see what happens. I've jailbroken my iPad and I set the date to next summer and it was still working including the rejailbreak on reboot part but I was getting weird iCloud errors due to moving the date so far forward.

Did you need to enter Apple ID during jailbreak?

Nope, I used the website jailbreak where I installed the app directly on the device using safari. If you used the windows app try to set the date forward and see if the reboot/rejailbreak works for you.
