I really want to get away from 8.4, but I'm hoping for an untethered release first. With my luck, the worst always happens. lol

I'm in the same boat. I rather have a untethered release but I'm wondering if I should go for it now while I can.

The question I wonder now is if I should go ahead & update my iOS now and wait.

Decided to update my 6s and iPad air to 9.3.3. Waiting for the English version and the dust to settle a bit before proceeding. was Scared of missing the signing window and getting stuck on 9.0.2. Think I've come to terms with the potential loss of untethered. I'll even get to use some apps that we can't beat the jailbreak detection on, like uverse tv

It's just one extra step to get cydia and tweaks working after rebooting. It's not great, but at least you don't need computer to boot. Been on 9.0.2 way too long... so I don't mind doing extra step to be on a more current iOS 9 version. How often do you reboot your device anyway?

Does anyone know if it is safe to jailbreak if you do online banking on your iPhone or iPad ?

So who's given up the stable 9.0.2 JB and gone for this?

I'm still not convinced, but as above I don't want to miss out.usually I test things on my iPod but it's a 5th gen so I can't.

I did have a few issues with battery and stuff which turned out to be all down to google drive. I deleted that and all is well.

The only niggle I have is whatsapp alerts don't come through at all. So I never know I've got a message until I check my phone.

Everything else is great. But I'd love to be on the latest iOS with security patches etc etc.

depends on comfort level, I'd personally use (and did use) a dummy/burner one

Can you change it to your real apple id and password after with comfort ?

Also do you recommend to jailbreak if you use your iPhone or iPad for online banking ?

ummm I wonder if the app changes to a dev certificate, then why does one need to update the app again if you used a free dev account?

Also, w the iclarified tutorial you can do the jb from your phone, no need to give your id to anyone. Will probably jb in a few minutes my 6S, need to read experiences of others w other software issues w it before install it though.

I will probably as well.. is it untethered?

I'm still a bit co fused about the signing thing. I saw a few posts on Reddit saying it expires in 7 days and nobody really knew what would happen after that.

Can someone out in dummy terms what this means please?

That's personal preference all around.

I think without re-JB the Apple ID you use is the one you have to stick with From a jb perspective.

As long as you don't use shady or cracked apps, I'd think that stuff is ok.

Whenever I use banking I use my computer though. Credit card payoffs, some I use from phone. Mostly take care of
Bills when on the computer -- just in a "get stuff done" mood

sure.

the chinese app that does jailbreak magic will not run anymore after 7 days, so if you reboot your phone you will need to re-sign and reinstall it to get to the jailbreak state again.

nothing will be lost, configs, tweaks, hacks will be there.

Umm I have been reading about crashing imessage and texts and substrates failing, I'm goign to hold off for a few days at least.

I already have the app on my iphone, have not trusted the dev from the safari method yet until I'm confortable w the issues of the jb.

semi, you need to reopen the app after reboot to get cydia to open and to use jb stuff

Free dev accounts can have apps loaded into iOS devices for a max of 7 days. after that the app does not work unless you refresh the certificate and load the app again. It used to be 3 months before but nowadays is only 7 days.

I'm in the same boat. 9.0.2 is working great for me. I only use TetherMe, and free premium of both Pandora and Spotify mostly..not sure if I'm ready to jump in but having this latest iOS is tempting.

We don't really know if this is gonna be a limitation or not. I assume it won't be.

Same here I have been reading so many things and debating with myself if I should update my 6s 9.0.2 jb to 9.3.3 around 80% of the tweaks I use have been updated already but I just am at a loss on what to do lol

My absolute only issue with 9.0.2 is respringing at night on its own... But it doesn't really bother me at all, I only realize because I have to type my password for Touch ID to work again

Yep, mine rebooted every night and I can't figure out why. So far so good

I used saurik's Impactor tool for Mac to install the pangu app. Just to be on the safe side, I created a throwaway email, which I then used to create an Apple ID to use for the program. Immediately after jailbreaking, I changed the password for the throwaway.
