How is battery life after a couple of days guys? Improved or the same? Mine is the same...it stays on 100% for a while and then drops pretty steadily throughout the day

So battery life hasn't really taken a hit then with 9.3?

iPhone 6s plus
I did a clean install, 100% charge.
The life battery is the same as all the betas, it has been always like this.
Do not disturb mode was set at 1%.

Hi, I think I'm getting same battery life as yours. I'm on T-Mobile. Can you please tell me what you mean by clean install? Did you download all of your apps manually or did you restore as new but used your backup to get your apps and data back on your phone?

Yes, one by one manually from App Store, not from iTunes pc, not from my backup from iTunes nor iCloud backup.
I did download 9.3 ipsw, installed it with shift + restore, selected ipsw and set up as new iPhone. Then downloaded all my apps one by one from App Store.

Thanks. I'll do that when iOS 10 is out;) it just takes so much time especially with configuring the setting. What do you do to get your pictures, videos, and music back into your phone?

My battery has definitely taken a hit. I was getting about 7 hours of usage before, and I'm getting about 5.5 now, if that. It used to take about an hour and a half to reach 90%, whereas now I'm at 87% after 40 minutes of use.

Not terribly pleased with it, but what can you do.

Really think they upped performance this update and it affected battery life but I'll take that any day

Agree with this, I'd much rather have it quicker. Probably sick of people complaining about performance. They'll go back soon to battery life when people complain again ha

I also agree. Bigger apps open much faster, such as RR3. In addition, my 6s boots up 10+ seconds faster. Before, on 9.2.1 and even 9.3Betas, my iPhone 6s would always take longer to boot than my iPad Air 2. Now, my 6s is much faster than my Air 2.

The past few days I've been hitting 1% in the afternoon when I typically end the day with about 30%. I don't usually notice any change in battery life with software updates but it's been very noticeably worse this time.

I swear to god, ios 9 is the worst ios ever. It s unreal how bad it is. I just went from a 5s to a 6s and besides the apps that open faster, the animations are the same, I even have to hide the clock app in a folder to fix the CC stutter. I understand the 5s is old but the 6s? It destroys the Geekbench scores and it can t smoothly open a folder for the first time after a reboot. And yes, it s set up as new, ios 9.3.
