Just a generic poll if you like Safari 15 (yes) with all of the new changes, or if you prefer Safari 14 (no)…

Love it, can’t go back to iOS 14 safari, I’d love it even more if mac rumors would fix the server timeout and forum page hanging not loading issues that I’ve been experiencing for the last 4 days 🤦‍♂️

I really like the new Start Page, and that it syncs across everywhere. I just still can't get on board with the URL Bar at the bottom. And everything else still feels in flux. Take away basic functionality to make it look minimal? That's just poor design.

Honestly I love it on the Ipad and MacOS; but something still need work on the IOS, I don't like how the share button is so close to the tabs button. Also Wish the URL disappears better, it sometimes blocks the bottom portion of some websites, especially lumatouch forums

After using an iPhone on iOS 15 along with another on iOS 14, I’d like to add that the new iPad like Safari way of viewing open tabs still seems like a downgrade from the Rolodex style view of open tabs in iOS 14. Doesn’t matter if I’ve got 3 or 20 open tabs. I still find it easier to scroll thru them iOS 14 style as opposed to looking at the new iPadOS style in iOS 15.

It is really quite bad, and now it is even worse after they walked back on the most significant changes. The only part of the new design that I kind of liked was the unified address bar/tab. Now they undid that.

I'm trying my best to like it. I wish they would put the bookmarks button, back at the bottom. I like there is a reload button at the bottom now, but I end up pressing it, when I'm trying to type in a new url. IDK....somethings I like, a lot I hate. The start page is great, maybe just get that bookmarks button to the bottom of the screen.

Tap on the address bar to access your favorites and bookmarks, problem solved. 👌😁

The unified address bar/tab is still there.

And because they provided two different option… I have feeling it’s here to stay. Perhaps they might try the same approach with the iPhone.

Well, as of right now it’s 41 for and 41 against. That’s very telling, regardless of how you voted, if you did.. For everyone that does like Safari 15, if you had to stick with Safari 14 for whatever reason, it’s not like functionality would be broken or people would be missing options.

Just make sure not to tap the Address Bar near the end of whatever web name domain is listed there, because you could accidentally tap the reload icon instead. Or is that the Reader icon? 😆

Not on Mac.
Umm.. I don’t have a Mac, but MacRumors reported that Safari has the option as well. Actually Safari on the Mac had the feature before it came to iPadOS 15 beta.

Edit. As soon as I seen the article… I knew Safari on the iPad was next. Given that Apple wants Safari to become a desktop browser similar to macOS.

I don’t have a problem with the overall layout. I have small hands, so having the address bar at the bottom is a huge win for me.

Tab Groups…I really like! Once I created groups and moved my tabs into their respective ones, it really cleaned things up! I have a TON of tabs open at a given time and Groups just made things so much easier to keep organized.

What I DON’T like so much right now, is the placement of the page reload button. I’ve tapped that by mistake quite a few times so far. I think if it was moved over a bit, it would be better.

Does anyone else find that "Copy Link" won't show up in the "Share" menu? I have it turned on it in the Extensions preference.

On iPadOS 15… it shows up.

But in addition to that… you can long press the URL bar to show up as well.
