Hello brother.

I was just being facetious in that post. I’m really not flash like that.

There were no replacement units, so I just got a refund.

Delivery dates are a month away, so I’ll just check stock levels for collection every day, then grab one when I see one available.

Wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas.

Look after yourself, buddy.
Dude, why not ask for a replacement then?

U know u can ask them to replace it AND that în the meantime u shall keep the one u currently have don't ya ?

They never had any replacement units, only space grey, which I don’t like.

Went back already, bud.

Similar to another thread on here, as well as Reddit.

Keyboard also didn’t feel as solid as the first one. Some of they keys felt “tappy” if that makes any sense?

I feel your pain and understand you :)

ordered another unit ?

again I'm telling you, call them, say the unit has problems, and ask them to get another unit .in the meantime ,u shall keep yours ,which, in spite of this problem,is still fully functional.

I’ve kind of given up.

I’ve gone through several units before, until I found a good one.

You can drive yourself mad, and feel completely embarrassed when it comes to finding an Apple product without any defects.

At the moment, I have none.

before = pre-2021 Mac?

is this an apple only problem though?
I’ve had issues with iPads & iPhones, re dead pixels.

Surprisingly, both 16” screens were good.

It’s a shame they had defects, as for that amount of money you expect them to be defect free.

if made by man nothing is defect free. but I get what your saying cost wise and waiting on my Max for Feb 8-20 ordered mid Dec so maybe this issue has been addressed...
