iPhone Absinthe v2.0! Jailbreak iOS 5.1.1

I'm actually getting worse battery life. The only Cydia app I have right now is SBSettings, I haven't reinstalled any of my apps yet from my previous JB. The phone gets really warm now on the right side by the sim card drawer almost to the point of hot, when I do anything on the phone.

Something definitely seems odd this time around.

none issue here, 4 with JB and a ton of apps running at 95% bat life from 5AM today, mod calling, I must be seeing things

For the iphone 4, haven't jb yet (still jb on 5.0.1) but trying to understand this "new build" wrench that was thrown in.

So since 9B208 (new build) was released, apple is no longer signing the older build? (9B206) even though they are on the same 5.1.1 and same bb?

Are new jb from now forced to use the new build?

Just wondering if someone can help with my single signal bar issue.

I have an iPhone 4 with 1.59.00 baseband, and I'm on contract with AT&T. I previously used the tethered jailbreak on iOS 5.0 without issue. Today, I used redsn0w 0.9.11b4 to build a custom 5.1.1 IPSW (build 9B206) without the baseband update, and under pwned DFU mode, I restored the custom 5.1.1 IPSW to the iPhone 4. I then jailbreaked using Absinthe 2.0.2. I now have one signal bar.

From what I understand, this issue is caused by 5.1.1 and a non-current baseband version. However, various fixes have been reported, of which I've tried resprings, reboots, network resets, SIM card reinserts, installing ultrasn0w 1.2.5 and ultrasn0w fixer for 5.1.1 in various orders, and all sorts of combinations of these things. I'm still at one signal bar on the AT&T network.

Any suggestions?

Gonna be doing this to my sister's iPhone 4S tonight. Gotta update her to 5.1.1 first though. Then probably my Mom's and Dad's tomorrow or Wednesday. Hopefully I don't get locked out....

connectivity issues

I jailbroke my iPhone 4 and an iPhone 3GS yesterday using Absinthe 2.0.2. Jailbreak went smoothly, however both phones are having connective issues with data. Sometimes I can receive data and sometimes I can't. I unjailbroke my 4 and it seems to have solved my issue. Anyone have any ideas?

I think if you do a fresh install on both devices then jailbreak that should solve any issues u had.
