I have iPhone 4/4s iOS 5.1.1 but MyWi not working. Please a need help!
The Chronic Dev-Team has just released another updated version of the Absinthe Jailbreak tool bring it to v2.0.2. This Update was released to bring Untethered Jailbreak to the newly released iOS 5.1.1 (Build 9B208), about which we reported yesterday.
This update is only for iPhone 4 GSM users who have updated to the latest build of the iOS 5.1.1. (Others nevermind!)
So if you are on an iPhone 4 GSM running the iOS 5.1.1 (Build 9B208), then download the Absinthe 2.0.2 below:

Absinthe 2.0.2 Released With iOS 5.1.1 (Build 9B208) Compatibility
does that mean ipad2 with 5.1.1 can use Absinthe 2.0.2 for jailbreak?
um, how can i make the jailbreak, while keeping my existing BB (old one) intact? I guess Absinthe isn't the tool for that, right?
Wish Apple would wake up and quit trying to battle what everyone wants! If they keep it up, they will chase away loyal customers for a phone that allows customization, widgets and personalization! Be careful Apple, you do not have Steve Jobs to come and save the company any more!!!
You'll need a Custom 5.1.1 IPSW (no_bb) that you can make with the latest version of redsn0w.
Backup phone vai iTunes, restore NO_BB, setup phone as new, use Absinthe to jb, reinstall any cydia tweeks, restore phone using backup.
I'll test mine and let you know.
What sources do I need to get winterboard to install? This is frustrating bc I had no problem with my jb per ios5. I also jail broke my iPad 2 and it's missing sources. I guess what do I need to download so the jb is even worth having?
Weird. I updated my iPhone 4 GSM late last night after 9B208 was released and got 9B206 instead...
Looks like the new version isn't for ALL GSM, but only certian ones...
I checked for updates, and itunes and OTA says I'm up to date w/ 9B206.
It's with the Cydia source that comes with it when you jailbroke the phone, you don't have to change any sources. Maybe you need to just refresh all the packages in your sources it might not have worked with Cydia being so overwhelmed.
Rather impressed with the battery life of this JB. All the other JB's seemed to have drained the battery quicker but this JB has had no impact on the battery life at all, well done to the dev team![]()

5) Now hit the RESTORE button (then confirm you want to restore to factory settings)
6) Wait for restore to finish remembering not to touch anything, dont setup the phone or anything. Leave it alone.
7) Once you see the grey iphone screen with the slide to unlock run Absinthe.
8) Once it has done it says ENJOY
9)Now go into iTunes Right Click your iPhone and hit RESTORE FROM BACKUP.
10) Depending on how much data you have it will all be done once it has restored.
