Sweet, it now is an universal app with native iPad support (free update), it is now game over for video library streaming, I'm so pumped!!!

Looks goood too.

Now I have no excuse not to get an iPad when they're eventually released.

Besides the price is there a difference between the 2.99 & free version?

this. anyone?

The free version doesn't show you all of your folders or files. Instead, you have to keep refreshing till the desired folder/file finally appears. Your actual video itself isn't slower in any way, but it's a lot nicer just getting the premium version. It's $3 well spent.

Downloaded now looks awesome!!

This is a MUST HAVE APP!

Kudos to developer. If you dont know what it is......you need to look into it.

You would have never thought it possible with iPhone, and iPad.

Been waiting for this all week! Very highly recommended if you have media stored on a desktop machine. There is a new server version too, going to go install now, hoping it bumps up the resolution.

please support the devs guys, they charge so little for and app that does so much. atleast compared to the 10 and 15 dollars apps out there.

Just tried the premium version, and its as smooth as ever. This is great

it doesnt say anywhere! you will have to download the server application and check for yourself. im presuming it can do 720p as the ipad can.
not meaning to trashtalk or go offtopic here, but people should really learn what HD really is, and what 720p is.

yes the ipad can play a movie which is in 720p, but it doesnt display 720p, and therefor it shouldnt be called a hd display, ohwell.

just hate everyone calling it hd graphics, hd used to mean something, not hd has no meaning, everyone is saying it about everything

It will transcode all your video on the fly as you stream.

Anyone else running the server app on windows 7 and getting a bonjour version error? I've post on the app forums, just curious. (there doesn't actually appear to be a bonjour update.)

Edit: fixed the Bonjour error but too lazy to type it out again. It's on the Air Video forums.

I know exactly what 729P is. It's very bandwidth intensive. That's why I asked.;)

Question for people who know the program

Is it just to stream locally - or can I use this if I'm at a friends and want to watch something from my home machine (if it's on, running the server software)

Or does it need to be on the same connection?

It can be streamed over 3G too. Atleast, it does on my iPhone 3GS

There's another thread around here somewhere, think the title may be "streaming movies"' where people discuss using it remotely, so yeah can be done.

wow awesome app.

how come it only streams video but can't stream music?

is there an app that streams music like this?
