Airpods At Walmart, BB, Walmart, Etc..?

Did you pay for overnight?Best Buy order yesterday afternoon...should be here today.
My BB order still says preparing, my CC has been charged though. I placed the order yesterday afternoon. 
Ordered from Best Buy at 6:15pm last night. Did not pay for overnight shipping and my order just moved from preparing to shipped. Should be here Thursday!
Haha thanks for the shoutout! I'd also like to join @Lobwedgephil in thanking @lyutin for sharing this information in another thread. It's funny - every time there is an apple product launch I end up being an active macrumors forums member again if just for a couple days, but the teamwork and sharing of information almost always results in getting the product a day or two after launch. Go teamwork! And if you're seeing this and you haven't managed to get your hands on some airpods yet, I can say from past experience just keep a close eye on the forums and you'll probably come out successful.Unbelievable!
I was resigned to waiting weeks and weeks for my AirPods ordered from Apple.com (January 12) and BestBuy.com (February 7). And then these six fine human beings posted to this forum...

...mentioning that we might want to order our AirPods from Verizon. And then BOOM! One hour after ordering through Verizon.com I got a FedEx tracking number showing that my AirPods will arrive at my front door tomorrow by 3:00p. To these six forum members, thank you, thank you, thank you! You all saved me (and many others on this forum, I suspect) weeks of waiting and fretting.
I offer to the six of you a deep bow of gratitude. Whatever holiday or special occasion you celebrate this month, I wish you the best and my sincere thanks for the unbelievably helpful tip.

Did it tell you a ship date of 2/7 when you originally ordered and you ordered anyways?
What did it estimate for original shipping time?
Ordered two yesterday at 5:00PM on Best Buy website ... just got shipping notice for delivery Thursday! Ha didn't have to wake up at 3:00AM or wait in line in the freezing cold
I went by BB after my local Apple Store told me they had no new shipments and BB said they haven't received any either.
No one knows, they get deliveries every day like Apple and what comes in isn't known until they go through the boxes.
Worth a shot if one is close, I would not travel far since it is pot luck.
Well the Apple store and the best buy Is In the same area for me and its a 12 minute drive.
One can call a BB store I guess but I never have any luck with that as the person on the receiving end would probably not even know what the heck Airpods are besides other stuff I wanted to know about in the past.
I checked a Verizon local store in the mall this morning, no Airpods. Nothing on Targets or Walmarts website either yet.
I did, wanted to get them as soon as possible so I can cancel my order with Apple.
I ordered from Best Buy. It showed backordered when I ordered (about 7 p.m. EDT) but still showed processing and delivery date of 12/22. This morning it slipped to backordered instead of processing. Now it shows processing again on the info screen but on my orders screen shows backordered. My card has a pending charge in the correct amount. Does Best Buy charge when they ship like Apple, or when you order? Can't figure out whether I'm actually getting these this week or not. I don't care, it's not a big deal. But I'd like to know one way or another!
