No real life pics, I'd stay away! Not sure why these companies can't post real photos!

Exactly why I haven't pulled trigger.

I had AirPods... until my wife commandeered them. Have skins, that I didn't get to put on because she won't agree with color lol. Perhaps I need another pair. Got lucky and BB had them for next day shipping. ‍♂️

Just got this same case from AhaStyle on Amazon and so far it's nice. It makes getting out of my pockets a little trickier, and the lid doesn't seem to fit as it should (loose when opening and closing). Overall protection is nice against scratches and everyday wear which is what I was looking for without adding the bulk of the PodPockets. The silicone on this was has such a resistant grip that it catches lint and dust. Here's a few pictures of the case with it on.

I've got the same, only in clear. I like it so far! I imagine that it will need to be replaced sooner rather than later though. It seems a bit loose and it does attract the dust! At least I have a case to protect my, um, case.

Second go-round with SlickWraps. The cutouts are much better this time. The big problem, however, is that you cannot fit a flat sheet on a curved surface without v-cuts. So the top of the wrap that goes at the top of the bud winds up puckered and wrinkled, just like the original. It's just not meant to be.

The only way to install is to use a hairdryer on hot. It allows the material to bend to the curve portions.

I plan on posting a video of my install. If you haven't tried your second pair yet definitely use a hairdryer. The heat allows the vinyl to stretch and shape much better. Still not 100% perfect but much closer and without the creasing you're describing. It's also a slow process. I think I spent 20 minutes on my first AirPod and 10 minutes on the second.

Well I tried the v2 this morning, but they have a ton of bubbling issues even on the pod case sticker.used both sets and couldn't get them to look right. So those were a bust for me unfortunately.

When it takes me less than a minute to install a perfect screen protector on my thousand dollar iPhone, I'm not willing to invest 30 minutes on something that's only meant to look cute and doesn't actually do anything.

Haha my wife keeps trying to snatch mine after she saw how easily they connect with  devices. Perhaps a Valentines Day present lol :D

Hopefully you have better luck than me. Got mine in December off BB and haven't been able to find any since. Missed them at Apple Store today by a few hours. Almost... ‍♂️

I preordered mine as soon as they went available for preorder. I asked my wife 3000 times if she wanted a pair, and she replied every time with "When do you ever see me use the EarPods that came with my phone?" Well, okay then lol.. Guess I should have known better lol.

Mine told me same thing. "Those are stupid, let me see them..." followed by lots of why do you need them etc. I finally let her see them... haven't seen them since

For those interested, added a quick installation video for the AirPod skins (V1 & V2):
Looks so easy but there's bubbles all over V2, didn't have any with V1. So now I have 1 pair of V1 left if I wanted to try and put them on again. But I used both pair of V2, didn't work out well at all.

just curious, what color did you get for the V2's?

I wish the coverage on the case was better. I'm tired of all the scratches on the case and mine are less than a week old.

I know this isn't the iPhone case forum, but I took a look at the Grfxp website to see how the Airpod skins looked and noticed a picture that had a Jet Black iPhone 7+ with a white silicone case. Anyone else think that looked pretty good, because I did!
