Keep in mind, when the first AirPods came out, they were universally panned and ridiculed. Now they are ubiquitous.I have to say the more I see people wearing them (including myself) the more ridiculous they look. I really don't like how flat they look on everyone's head and the Apple watch looking shape. This is of course totally subjective but I eally think these look ridiculous on people's heads. I get what Apple was doing as far as trying to make them immediatley noticeable, but I don't think they came out very well.
I think even just a simple embossed Apple logo would be an improvement.I find the APM looks very nice, except when looking head on at the slab of aluminum. There aren’t any other details to break up the plane.
Perhaps those Apple Stickers that we have thousands ofI think even just a simple embossed Apple logo would be an improvement.
Fair point, but AirPods were truly unique at the time. Over the ear headphones have been around for decades and these aren't anything unique like Airpods were.Keep in mind, when the first AirPods came out, they were universally panned and ridiculed. Now they are ubiquitous.
The more distinctive the design, the less logos are needed. One look and you know they're APMs, without a giant Apple logo broadcasting from your ears. None of their wearables, e.g. Watch, AirPods, AirPods Pro and AirPods Max products have logos... one look and you know. Same with HomePod. Wouldn't be surprised if they started down a path of removing logos from more products in the future.I think even just a simple embossed Apple logo would be an improvement.
I'm an adult and I think the target audence for these are adults. For teenagers they might have an issue with what their friends think but most mature adults are confident enough to buy and wear what they like. I have to work hard for what I buy so this means I care about what it means to me. If someone else wants to buy me headphones then I'll consider their opinion. If not it's meaninglessKeep in mind, when the first AirPods came out, they were universally panned and ridiculed. Now they are ubiquitous.
I've still got my David Clarks and they do look similar now that I think about itThe shape reminds me of my old pair of David Clarks when I was in the Air Froce.
Now I'm wishing I would have gotten the green pair and put the logo on them. Run a fake cable from one ear over to the other. Black ear puffs/cuffs/cups.
It felt like those things were on my ears for a solid 8 years.

(not me) that guy looks way better ?
If that video was supposed to sell someone on 550 dollar headphones, it failed miserably. Everything is just OK or pretty good. What a ringing endorsement!
He's not selling anything. He's a known audiophile. He's just putting the overall technology into perspective. People always want to read between the lines. If that video was supposed to sell someone on 550 dollar headphones, it failed miserably. Everything is just OK or pretty good. Exactly. If you don’t want them don’t buy them. People just want to hate on a brand or product for no reasonHe's not selling anything. He's a known audiophile. He's just putting the overall technology into perspective. People always want to read between the lines.
Oh jeez the victim complex. People have plenty of reason to not think these headphones are good enough to justify their price.Exactly. If you don’t want them don’t buy them. People just want to hate on a brand or product for no reason
oh man Z Reviews AirPods Max. Get your popcorn ready LOL
Here my review, I think they are pretty good. Second pair of bluetewth headphones I had. I had zinghi ones before, those were ok. I will be wearing these outside for labour work but I got apple care so I update review after a few weeks on how they hold up. I imagine people will assume I'm a bit gay but not a big deal.
